However, I think the commentating could be a lot better on some of the channels i've been watching. I mean, I'll watch the games muted if I have to, but that takes out half the fun. The ICCUP TV guys have been great, though. Unfortunate that most of these games have terran, or are even TVT. Also, the mass reaper shit was dissapointing. I feel like there was nothing Slush could do, despite near perfect decision making, macro, and micro. And no, roaches don't fix the problem.

Just let him be at the semis and ban Strifeco from the ESL like the guys from gosucoaching did on a guy who did the same stuff.

You can't honestly think there's no good way to deal with the mass reapers? Slush opted to mass a unit kite-able by reapers, whatever the optimal answer is, that certainly wasn't it.

Jobless's opponent ignored all communication for 30 minutes and then reported a win without playing. Jobless was there trying to talk to him the entire time and we have proof that his opponent saw and ignored it. We wouldn't have the match reversed simply because of some player complaining about a noshow without enough proof to be 100% sure it was a fake result.

All zerg T1 is kiteable by reapers :| Not many options to choose from, but banelings was prob the worst.

I know it's easy as a spectator to be swayed by the random declarations of the caster on what's a good idea and what's a bad idea, but were you ignoring the rest of the game? The terran had fast expanded and had reapers out. Slush was literally unable to take a third and even if he had been able to hold on to his two, he'd still be behind the terran in the midgame (FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON UNDER HIS CONTROL). His only viable option was to go for a bust, or hope for a lucky baneling hit (which he got, though it wasnt even enough). I don't want to degenerate this thread into a ZvT balance shit show so i'm not going to continue replying on the topic, but more lings or roaches wouldve faired far worse than the banelings did in that game, I think. Have you watched other ZvT games with mass reapers at a high level? I have. Roaches and lings don't work either.
