I just registered to truthfully ask you this, do you seriously think that they haven't done this? Do you really think that a tournament of this caliber ONLY exist in one forumthread on TL? Can you, honest to god, say that "hey, I really believe that they didn't contact the players through email of other various methods" ?

Sorry for the rant, but dude.. They have contacted the players in other ways than just open up a forum thread, it's HDStarcraft and Husky for crying out loud, the two men with keys to the kingdom! Have faith in their job, this tournament will be awesome and rest assured that the players that are invited have been notified and contacted.

that just seems like they are expecting players to read the thread, check if they're invited and respond. seeing that the korean players dont speak or read english, they need to use different channels. if they have done that, then my apologies for assuming otherwise but why you're taking a personal gripe is beyond my understanding. anyways i hope they all make it in.

I asked them if they were invited yet and they haven't. I got the same impression as Telcontar tbh. If you're not inviting them, don't put them on the list because they don't check TeamLiquid to see if they've been invited to foreigner tournaments (even if they could).

I'll give them the benefit of doubt in this case. I'm an average(-ish) intelligent guy with absolutely no experience in organizing tournaments and I realize that counting on all the foreign players to come here to accept their invitation seems like a very bad idea. I have to believe that they at least have made attempts to contact them through other means, successful or not. But what do I know.
