You got great casting skills and I love your streams.
But for the love of god, stop saying the results in other matchups when watching a particular game.
I tuned in to your daily tv archive and wanted to watch Idra Huk before WhiteRa and Dimaga (because the links arent up on the first page yet) and you go and say the current standing in WhiteRa Dimaga game.
Likewise there is absolutely no need that you mention Idra or Huks previous results in this tournament.
Let people find out the results by either: 1. Watching the games. 2. Reading the results.

BUT NOT by you revealing results in the VODS.
Thank you for a great tournament
Also agree. Or say something like "spoiler alert" before saying any results if you really want to say them.
P.S I also what to emphasize the "you got great casting skills and I love your streams"-part..

Firstly, props to Day[9] for organizing and casting this tournament. I love his stuff.
Problem is though, I'm in China and all of the source sites (livestream, blip.tv) are blocked; anybody know an un-blocked site where the videos are up, or of a work-around?
Thank you for joy while we are waiting for release !
Im quite happy to see that being really aggressive on start as zerg really works better then fast expanding builds as it seems. I also watched dimaga's stream while he was laddering and he did this kind of aggression and worked very well. Its nice to see this strategy working against someone like whitera. Its pleasing to see two different style of play, like idras heavy macro and dimagas early game agression.

lol where is this from?
That was vs Masq on a US ladder game. Earlier in the game Masq asked Idra why there were so few Zerg on the server.
I think Idra instantly became my favourite after those closing remarks lol
Loved the comment from Day9 about the sole zergling on the ramp, it's a shame he doesn't do more commentaries. Huk's play was a little bit weird, he couldn't use a lot of his Warpgates at the beginning in game 2 and he didn't research charge / colossus upgrade. Unusual play is one thing, but not on the risk that it is inefficient.
Hoping to see Idra move up and Huk/Qxc at least win a series =/. So far the Koreans look as scary as advertised.
I think another thing Idra can start doing when he maxes and is building up resources is to start building nydus networks. In game 3 vs Huk especially it seemed like he could nydus Huk's main really easily by floating an overlord over from his expansion. If he sends up 2 nyduses at once I don't think Huk can warp in enough stuff to stop it. Usually Protoss with a Collosus ball have to keep their entire army in a ball and won't have spare units around to defend each base.
What is the time in california right now? I wonder when day9 will be online again so he can upload the game 1. I don't want to watch the other games before I can watch that one

West coast of North America is 4:40AM at the moment.
Group Play Day 4 - July 21th 7PM PST Group A: White-rA vs IntoTheRainbow - Tough call. Going by his showmatches vs. TLO, though, for now, I'm gonna have to give it to ITR 2-0. Group B: Huk vs Tester - Tester unquestionably. Huk 0-3s and is eliminated.
Group Play Day 5 - July 22th 7PM PST Group A: QXC vs Dimaga - QXC, though I don't think I'm familiar enough with either player to make an accurate call. For now, QXC 2-1. Group B: Tester vs TheLittleOne. Tester, again unquestionably.
Group Play Day 6 - July 23th 7PM PST Group A: Qxc vs IntoTheRainbow - ITR 2-0. Group B: Idra vs TheLittleOne. Going by the previous results from the Altitude, Idra should have the advantage. I suspect this match to be REALLY close though, as I believe TLO probably got better since the ATL, as exhibited by his showmatches with White-rA. However, as much as I want TLO to win, I have not seen enough of TLO's Phase 2 TvZ to see any evidence that his TvZ has convincingly improved. So unless I see some amazing Phase 2 TLO TvZ replays, I'm probably gonna have to give this to Idra 2-1.
Fantasy League Results (expected results in bold): + Show Spoiler +
Semifinals: Tester vs. White-rA - Tester. Beat him in the Altitude and I think Tester simply has the superior PvP
IntoTheRainbow vs. Idra - IntoTheRainbow. He's Korean and Idra has a block against Korean. On a more serious note, i think ITR will probably prove to simply have the superior skills
Finals: Tester vs. IntoTheRainbow - Tester. Simply because I'm more familiar with him and am aware of how strong his play is due to the Altitude Invitational. I have no idea how good ITR is, and in my mind, Tester is currently the best player in the world, leading me to believe that he will win the King of the Beta tournament.
King of the Beta Tournament Winner: Tester.
Edit: Updated Scores, but predictions remain the same.

Your musing is unfounded. Tester and White-rA are both Protoss and I fully expect both to make Top 2 of their groups and fully expect Tester to win this tournament.
