O.o Its not fun trying to sift through all the pages and see that most of the pages aren't about the King of the Beta.
Can't wait to watch the casts on my birthday though!

It's not Idra's fault that 4 Colossi totally can turn the tides and you have them out that quickly from 2 chronboosted robos. He had little time to react. He could have assumed Colossi, surely, and could have menaged that battle better, but it's not like he played blindly w/out scouting, Tester prepared for that timing attack well. Uhh.. Yea when your opponent hard counters your army and you don't respond it's your fault. You're implying imbalance is the issue I guess... either way.

LOL, that doesn't mean anything, did your "Masq" achieve anything in open tournaments like Go4SC2 or Zotac ? Ladder games don't mean sh*t http://www.youtube.com/user/HDstarcraft Hes beating white-ra and idra, def should be considered for an invitational. I odnt know if he has won any tourny's, probably not invitationals since all those use the same old tired players, but im excited to see some new faces stick it to the older dusty 'pros'. Ladder games don't mean anything. If you're going to watch videos like that, do it purely for entertainment. IF that's the case then past SC1 results should not mean anything in terms of SC2 skill and free invites to tourneys. It's a different game. That is not the case since invitationals aren't only based on skill. If there were no other factors or limitations there wouldn't make much sense to have an invite tournament.

It's not terrible. It's just a minor nitpick taken hopefully in the spirit of a loyal viewer who would love to see Day be even better than he is now. I just feel that having another person to take some of the pressure off of him and catch some of the big things he can't notice immediately would be a huge help. Also, I think it would help because it would obscure some of his bouncing around and "boxing" of units that he does during the cast. It would also give him perhaps a more stable camera so that he can bounce around during the game without making viewers noxious. EDIT: Damn, meant to post this in the D9 thread on SC2 general, not the tournament thread. My bad.

For instance, in tester vs idra game 2, tester had little to no D in his main. If idra had done a couple drops or a nydus worm, he would have done significant damage.

The only reason he isn't in most of the major tournaments is the fact that he didn't get invited. You don't get invited to high level tournaments just for winning a few ladder matches.

Idra never does drops -- he just macros a ball and loses.

Yes, he scouted wayyyy late (Tester switched tech trees), then lost to the obvious unit everybody should have known was coming.

His style is bizarre because he does the exact same thing every single tournament game. (FE into hydra/roach).
