Idra v. Masq started off friendly enough and look how that turned out.

IdrA is person who is nice only to players he respects. Doubt the has much respect for Masq for beating him couple of times and then sending the replays to HD. (Sorry if this is not the case, jusut trying to make my point)

But...
+ Show Spoiler +
TLO can actually be another story as TLO have shown some good games and good results. They were already nice to each other in game two where TLO beat him using BC's and IdrA still GG'g and continued their talk in game 3. That's not very bad mannered in my opinion

masq actually posted 5~6 replays of him vs pro players (whitera, tester, strelock) on the replay thread here. look, you can speculate all you want but unless you actually know greg fields, you really dont know how he thinks and its ill mannered to assume you do based on wafer thin evidence.

Of course I'm speculating on this. But I speculate it on the things I see.
Most of the posters here (including you) base their posts on speculation and I never claimed that the things are excactly as I said.
I just thought it's clear that it is only in my opinion as I am the poster.

Can you link the replays btw? I want to see did he post only his victories or did he post the defeats also :o Not judging, just wondering.

sorry thats not how it works. it'll be tester vs itr and qxc vs idra in the semis since finishing top of the group should be rewarded not punished. at least we know it'll be korea vs america in the finals. i just pray that it wont be a T v T.

wow I really thought TLO is gonna win with that push in g3. Nice play by Idra, but can't understand why it's so hard to put 1 or 2 extra spine crawlers to not to lose tens of drones..

Pretty sure it's going to be IdrA vs Tester in the finals, with Tester ending up defeating IdrA.

Anyway, I'm excited to see these matches.

that would be great if we could have a finals of East vs. West- especially if QXC or IdrA won. This will be a great thing to watch as walmart employees take their sweet time to stock the SC2 retail copies.

Holy Crap hot damn. My Bracket is ruined. Was definitely not expecting QXC to go 2-0 against ITR. I mean, really WTF. And even though I had Idra winning vs. TLO, I'm still very very disappointed since I love TLO to death. Anyway, I have Tester beating ITR and Idra beating QXC, leading to a Tester vs. Idra final.

Predicted winners:
1st Place: Tester
2nd Place: Idra.

And thus, Tester earns the title of King of the Beta.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

Hi Day[9] for the third time!

I have mentioned this two times before and I am not alone to mention this in this thread.

How come such an excellent caster like yourself, can analyse any game better than anyone, give advice on the smallest changes players can do to improve their games cannot stop revealing results/standings in other games than the game being watched?! Specially after all the posts that has been made regarding that in this thread!

Please, if you would analyse your own casting I know you wouuld say to Day[9]: He has in depth knowledge in the game, make funny remarks here and there and is really fun to listen to. But he has to stop revealing results in other games than the game being watched!!

This is one the best things I have ever seen Tester is a hero absolutely amazing player; it's the first time I have seen him play.

Special mention to HuK who was outstanding really unlucky not to win a match.

Cant wait for the rest of this thanks Day 9 and Razer

It's normal to talk about group standings and who people will play in the next round during a tournament. It's not hard to watch the games in order and avoid the spoilers, especially when links are always available.

I agree. I for one actually appreciate the recaps. There has been quite a number of games already that it's good to know the current standing and what the stakes are before the match. There aren't any spoilers if you watch the games in order. =)

The benefit of winning your group in most tournaments with group stages (in any game/sport) is that you don't have to play other groups' winners, who are ostensibly the better players. (Edit: Just in case someone isn't clear on this: Tester and qxc won their groups. ITR and Idra were second. ITR and qxc had the same record, but qxc beat ITR in their match, which is the normal primary tiebreaker.)

Well, sad to see TLO out; he's definitely my favorite player to watch in SC2, very entertaining playstyle. But at least there will be a zerg continuing on, and idrA earned that series, absolutely phenomenal play by him in game 3.

I agree. The games are semi-spoiled anyway, if there are three games then that means that whoever won game 1 lost game 2, if there are two games than whoever won the first game wins all. You only get suspense for the 1st and 3rd games in a given series. ^^

It's not that big a deal anyway, just be glad that there's a tournament at all. Thank you Day9 for hosting this event. And thanks for casting Huk's win! It's great to see Huk take a game from all the top players he's faced, with more practice and finesse I see him becoming very good.
