Tester will be showing some nice macro, since he has to play against himself
Didn't expect qxc to go 2:0, definitely earned some points there, as for TLO, it's a shame, because his games are more interesting to watch and I'm not a big fan of IdrA's playstyle.

I still don't get why people classify Idra as US/West. He plays in Asia, he goes through same practice schedule, plays on the Asia server. So he's basically "Korean" since everyone knows your actual nationality has no effect on your performance.

Nothing is spoiled if you use the links from the OP of this thread, uncovering each game after you watch the previous one. It will show 3 games even when there are only 2, and you won't know what happens until you finish watching the second game.

I agree it's better that Day9 summarizes previous games. This adds context to the current game. Just watch all games of the tournament in order, and you won't get spoiled.

IdrA is the top Zerg of the US server:
http://sc2.vacau.com/sc2/index.php
He also is still far from integrated and has mentioned how difficult it is to communicate with the others (even teammates), so his learning curve environment cannot be compared with the Koreans. They have more natural access to a ton more information.

Hi Day[9] for the third time!

I have mentioned this two times before and I am not alone to mention this in this thread.

How come such an excellent caster like yourself, can analyse any game better than anyone, give advice on the smallest changes players can do to improve their games cannot stop revealing results/standings in other games than the game being watched?! Specially after all the posts that has been made regarding that in this thread!

Please, if you would analyse your own casting I know you wouuld say to Day[9]: He has in depth knowledge in the game, make funny remarks here and there and is really fun to listen to. But he has to stop revealing results in other games than the game being watched!!

I agree. The games are semi-spoiled anyway, if there are three games then that means that whoever won game 1 lost game 2, if there are two games than whoever won the first game wins all. You only get suspense for the 1st and 3rd games in a given series. ^^

I have had to post again, what a load of nonsense this is, in football terms if a team was playing over two legs it makes sense to talk about how the first leg went analyse it and see if the same thing will happen or if a team can counter act certain things... you can use this analogy in any sporting event.

This Beta tournament is no different.

If you don't want it to be spoiled don't open the links until you get to them - watch them in order. It really is that simple. The way the OP is laid out I really can't understand how anyone is having difficulty with this - Having said that people will always find something to complain about...

*edited to actually make sense

He represents America and is considered one of the best american players. So because he plays in Asia he shouldn't be classified as an american anymore?

Why can't people just watch the games in the order they are in the OP? In blip.tv they get mixed up but they have always been played in the order they are shown in his first post.
Don't see why it is so hard.

How about people with low bandwidth/speed of internet and can't be assed to wait 30 minutes to watch each game to load? I only want to watch the good games, and if he references another game as being exciting in his casts I'd want to go watch it, but I don't want to know the results because half the fun is gone!

ALSO could anyone recommend some of the best games for the above mentioned reasons? I don't want to watch some of the boring games.

Here's an updated bracket for this tournament, I presume the first from group A will play the second player from Group B, and vice versa.

Please update the game scores of HuK and Tester from the group stage - 3-6, and 6-2, respectively. (you may want to rewatch the match also, now that the missing game is included)

edit: thanks a lot, looks awesome!

You don't have to wait the whole game to load to watch it; you just can't skip/seek in some of the largest games (afaik), because of blip technical reasons, but even them you can watch from the beginning, without skipping, and without having to wait the whole video to load first - i.e. you could turn it off in the middle if you don't like it, and proceed with the next one.

Without taking away any credit from QXC for his wins over ITR, am I the only one to feel there was awful lag during those games for ITR ? :/

Look at the first post. Now tell where are the vods in order for day 6? To watch them now (for someone like me who wont have time in the next few days and dont want to wait for a long time) I have to click the blip thing. It takes me to some video thats not one of the games I want to skip that and watch QXC vs ITR so I have to select them manually. Unfortunatly when you do this they will not jump to the next one so you have to select it again and even if I do this with half my eyes closed I can see if theres a game 3 or not so the results are spoiled. To me the problem its not that Day speaks about the previous games, thats my fault if I get spoiled because everyone should know by now that the games are played in order but the number of games spoiled you cant run off unless you wait for Day9 to update the page (now it doesnt matter the tourny is over but if theres another way around it someone plz tell me it would help a lot in future tournaments that dont like Euro people )

After watching all those games I just have to say GJ Day and GGs to all the players. QXC what a good surprise knew he had skills but didnt know he could keep up with the big guns. Sad about TLO but at least like this people see that Zerg arent weak, on the contrary. Really GG Idra!

Dont know about Dimaga. He was so dominating in the World Cup and all his games here were..I dont want to say average but they werent as good maybe lack of practice I dont know.

that second game of tlo vs tester was so epic, you'd almost have to have 2 casters and 2 screens to follow all the action, shame the 3rd game was such a basic cheeze voidray rush :p
I'll bite this hand that feeds me, and take it for my own!

Can you give an example of sports where racial(asian/caucasian and such) genetics play a part? not including body size ofc

Oh for gods sake is it that hard? If you dont want to wait for Day[9] to update his page then search for the games like so "idra vs thelittleone game 1" or something similar. Thats how I do it. Is that that difficult?

Can't wait to see IntoTheRainbOw vs Tester. I haven't had many opportunities to observe Korean TvP and i'm interested to see RainbOw's take on it. ITR FTW!
