As far as we know, no one knows where he is.
He apparently won't be here today but he will be here for sure tomorrow.

And I suspected it but this confirmed it for me, a Starcraft tournament is a nerd convention. 90% of the people there fell somewhere in the nerd category, from mild to severe. I was more in the mild end, I felt. I was also probably the oldest person there, or at least in the top 5, I think! So it was fun in a couple ways! ![]() I'll probably go back tomorrow to watch the finals and see if I win anything in the drawings for computer parts.

And I asked Diggity whether there's going to be a livestream coverage and he replied with "no". So it most likely IS some last minute decision ;P Fair enough but the English is wrong. You can't cast in the same locale, you can commentate though. The definition in this context is about pushing outwards, like a net or 'broadcast'. Still, having to go out of your way to track it is disappointing, but for any stream of this calibre I think we're all thankful. And the next time you guys do this I'm sure the stream will have proven your success to all those who couldn't go or who were on the fence this time.

Many spectators had shown up at this even from all over. Many were aspiring players, but not quite ready for the main tournament. DarkJackalX(Tom) and I had a brainchild to form a spectator-only tournament, which became known as: The King of the Spectators tournament 16 players, only spectators of the main event are eligible Best of 3, semifinals and finals are Bo5 Prize pool: 4 cases of RedBull (one for each semifinalist). qxc and PainUser have also generously donated an hour of coaching for our finalists. GreenForest was kind enough to put the matches on the widescreen so we could all observe Round of 16 - Best of 3 - starting map Lost Temple: Dopey(P) def ReillyC(P) 2-0 Enzzo(T) def DJTyrant(P) 2-0 Jehuty(P) def Yadare(T) 2-0 Jackal(T) def Skinjob(P) 2-0 Maragin(Z) def EXSilent(T) 2-0 Jash(P) def LGzy(P) 2-1 BSB(Z) def GreenForest(T) 2-0 Hyperion(P) def Kharyss(T) 2-0 Round of 8 - Best of 3 - starting map Steppes of War: Dopey(P) def Enzzo(T) 2-0 Jackal(T) def Jehuty(T) 2-1 Jash(P) def Maragin(Z) 2-0 Hyperion(P) def BSB(Z) 2-0 Semi Finals - Best of 5 - starting map Metalopolis: Dopey(P) def Jackal(T) 2-1? (both players agreed to Bo3) Jash(P) def Hyperion(P) 3-2 Finals to be played today 8/15 Best of 5, starting map Kulas Ravine Dopey(P) vs Jash (P) We will attempt to get these games cast/streamed/commentated. Big thanks to all that participated/ helped/ observed or just hung around. Thanks to qxc and PainUser for donating their time and expertise. Also thanks to the accommodating staff of Green Forest Cafe, who let us play until 2AM to get through the semi-finals. maragin (That guy with the Red Bull shots)
