150 mineral and not that effective vs banelings

didnt u see how many banelings the queens have stopped from reaching the drones?
Sunkens are very effective if u target fire banelings.

and it's 100 mineral, not 150!

that was my first thought too but then i realized he meant with drone in which case its actually more then 50 minerals.

7-1 for Asia. TLO took the only match for EU against Loner 3-0. Haypro lost 0-3 to Gerrard and Zpux lost 1-3 to Dayfly. Yesterday, Naniwa lost 1-3 to Eric. TLO vs. Sen was not finished. Maka vs. Haypro was not played.

I thought TLo played against Sen? Where can i find the VoD`s of him against Loner?

I don't think they're up yet. They were played earlier today. The summary, though, is that TLO just dominated Loner. Loner was not playing well at all, or at least not to the caliber of TLO.

ZvZ is extremely broken right now, the games generally come down to 1 spot of lag where a baneling hits just perfect or a renegade baneling that happens to blow up in a good spot. I don't believe that it is a display of any skill atm.

Right now ZvZ is worse than it was when beta first came out and it was pure roach.

I didn't think it was loner not playing well as much as TLO simply playing better.

Possibly, but to be fair Loner has been performing terribly in most tournaments that involve non-Chinese players. His meta-game might be stuck at a level that simply isn't up to international levels, or it could be that he chokes during these matches. I personally wasn't impressed with his play any of the times I've seen him.

Edit: that's not to say TLO didn't play great, of course. He has been, after all, the only one to win a match for Europe in this entire series.

It was both, but for my part it was more part of Loner, who played terrible.

I really think "overplaying" is a concern. You lose focus and you also lose quiet a bit of feeling , just because everything feels so numb and I dont know. Whoever played 2 weeks 10 hours a day can tell what I'm talking about.

And I really dont want to bash on Loner nor do I hate him, I just pointed out that he didnt play good today. Also I'm not taking away any credit away from TLO.

I've always thought that how long you practice is not as important as how well you practice. If your English is good, I encourage you to take some time to watch Day9's dailies. He has a lot of good insight into how to practice, both in general and for tournaments. This might be counter-intuitive, but sometimes practicing too much makes you do worse, and this has both to do with fatigue and in giving you a false sense of security. For example, if you only practice on BNET, you might develop a strategy that is very good against BNET players, but which just fails completely in tournaments because people there are doing something different altogether.

meh zvz is a joke, its so hard to defend with ling/baneling and unfortunately its the only good counter to that strat. so in the end it all comes down to who can get baneling first to the opponents doorstep and keep them coming.
