I think it was GTR here who said so back for...hmm maybe it was the PGR21 tournament that was held in April. Also when the oGs team information was released, they gave all of the names for the players and NcYellow (김성제) was there as one of the terrans. Thanks to the TLPD feature of this site you can search the Hangul name and it gives back

Some other nationalities may well be taking part also, Sen for example has received an invite. Details are fairly sparse at the moment while they establish what the teams will be, with the Koreans for example this is what I found out and posted in another thread: Names will have changed due to the reset that has happened since I found that info but you can see the competition is going to be of the highest standard. Most Chinese people do not deem a Taiwanese as someone from other nationalities, therefore, Sen is directly put in the seeds pool of Team China, and now leading in the polls. Over here in the UK we tend to view them as two distinct countries. Was Prodtoss right when he said that the 3 players with the most votes in this poll will be seeded into the final tournament? While the other 11 will have to join Empty, FengZi, PJ, F91 and Ace in even more qualifying matches? @Prodtoss - Thanks I always hope they will release the information before I go to sleep but no they wait until I'm in bed and I have to update it in the morning when the games already started. *sigh*

Do we know yet how many play-off groups there will be? Is E the last qualifying group for the Koreans for example? Looking through I count 14 Chinese players and I think it will end with 10 Korean players also, so does that mean they have enough and they will go with 6 groups of 4 for the play-offs? Or maybe invite 8 players from Europe and the USA to make it 32 total for 8 groups? (I can dream )

First match should go live anytime now, here's hoping for some fireworks and a five way draw at 2-2 so we get even more to watch. ^^

![]() I voted for Freedom, sSKS and Dayfly as my seed choices since I think they all bring something special to their play of each of the races, although damn it was a tough choice since Anypro is also an interesting protoss player and I really liked watching NCYellow's terran too. For now I've listed all the qualified players so far in the first post so it's easy to see who will be involved in these final play-off stages. 25 seems a strange number though for making groups as I'm sure they originally wanted to have 8 groups in total.
