Congrats to White-Ra for making it out of a rather difficult group.
Anyways, thanks for hosting this! It seems like China is hosting some of the biggest and most spetacular international tournaments for the SC 2 Beta, and has really pulled ahead in terms of organization compared to, at least, the US. Hope this trend continues into retail, as I feel like China might be able to become a major engine for the scene like it was for WC 3. Of course to keep interest, you guys will need some Chinese legends to emerge
From the schedule, it seems like IdrA's group will be played early Thursday morning, and Dimaga's group a little bit after that. Will be some great games once again.

White-Ra:s games were really really good. Especially his PvZ. So good he qualified!
|
The commentator upload all VODS till 2:00 AM then go to sleep I really appreciate that
but the VOD of Prime.Check vs mouz.White-Ra can't work for me
|
I see the 1st Check vs White-Ra match has jumped straight into the number 1 spot on their most-watched vod list so perhaps there are just too many people trying to initialize it right now?
Edit - Ah no, that is the 2nd game...hmm.

fuck ya White-ra finishing above check.
|
will there be any kind of english coverage for this awesome event?

Second this. There are some great players and some great games, a shame if they "go to waste"

White-ra is really lucky, he was assigned to a much weaker group than BratOK's, with Empty being one of the weakest players in the event , and ACE and Check who used to be warcraft players being not as solid as Sen and Boxer (who are starcraft semi-pros). And to be honest, Whita-ra is just not solid enough either comparing to the many crazy Asian guys, espcially those from Korea.
|
ya white-ra is one of EU's best, while his group was two guys below asia's top tier and empty. he should have made it out and he did deservedly after his nice play vs check. Also expect TLO/Idra to make it out of their groups easily. Nazgul/Dimaga will have a tougher time but I think they'll also advance, haypro is kind of screwed and will have to play amazing to beat cool/tester D=
did not expect bratOK to get beat that bad, thought he would at least take 1 game
ty to hateplow for the lag free stream, I got crazy buffering from 17173 site in the primetime matches

Woah white-ra kicking ass. Awesome!
Idra playing tonight. Hopefully he can kick ass and represent the US :D.

What are you talking about, did you watch the recent Sen Vs White-Ra BO5? yea, sen won, but it was 3-2 and a close series so you sure as hell cannot say that hes "not solid enough" compared to asians.

I agree. In his group he won all games i saw in a pretty dominant fashion. Yes, people will have a hard time against Korian pros but in the league of the amateurs, i think White Ra, TLO and Sen are the strongest right now.

I think except the Micros,White-ra has proved he is a world-class SC2 player
BTW. White-ra has a lot of fans in China because of his lovely personality~~and we call him "auntie white"

Thanks for making this tourney easy to track Bane_!

It's only 1/32 Final, White-ra gonna to advance anyway. maybe we can talk about who is lucky or not at quater-Final (same as Idra Sen TLO..etc)
