cheating in the past? do you mean the win-trading? I really don't think he would propositally disconnect, cause its an instant loss. cool was manner and didn't take it

Actually admins forced a re-game on him. He said he had it 100% won and that he did not want a rematch unless I saw the in-game chat wrong.

I hope cool wins now, great sportsmanship from him. As for the disc, highly suspicious - especially given Dimaga's record of cheating in the past.

Dimaga cheated ?

Abused in the TSL ladder stages, many consider that to be a less of a crime than using hacks but it obviously still shows that he is capable of doing "shady" stuff.

He was given the chance to regame with completely same build orders pretty much giving him a free win. He either was super mannerful for declining or thought that Dimaga somehow could figure out a way to beat the situation.

Also ladder stages =/= being 1 loss away from being bumped down from a 1st place payout.

Cool doesn't care about $$$ - guy is a real class.

I don't know. I don't think any standard of sportsmanship could possibly expect someone to give up an advantage like that - there is nothing even slightly unfair remaking with same BOs, if anything I feel it would give Dimaga a small edge, just because I feel it would be easier psychologically knowing what is coming even if you couldn't react the way you wanted.

I guess I just want to push back against the idea - which of course was not explicitly in your posts - that accepting the re-game with same BOs could ever be considered BM or bad sportsmanship.

cool had 90% of chances of winning, same BO wouldn't change anything since he didn't have pool ready for spine crawlers anyway... how can it be BM from him??

btw, what is that WW all about? is this some kind of an offensive GG?
Part of the inhumanity of the computer is that, once it is competently programmed and working smoothly, it is completely honest.

Best scenario is Cool getting a laggy D/C when Dimaga has an advantage in a deciding Game 7 and Dimaga taking a rematch with different build orders! There's a really small chance of this happening but plz Gods of SC make it happen !!!

No, I think Cool told Dimaga to not use the same builds because his hand was already shown. Anyway, Dimaga played the same build nevertheless (until he scouted the 12pool rather than 7/8pool).

I think it's all about korean mentality. They won't argue with admins asking for a win after a disconnect, even if they think it was a "100% win". They're just very mannered, but I'm sure Cool has no more respect for Dimaga after that game ... Dimaga should have accepted the lose.

Pressing WW on korean keyboard with the korean settings on results in korean letters that sound like "gg". It is standard practice for Koreans to use ww instead of gg. It was often done in televized games before KESPA made gg the one and only way to officially lose a game.

So nope, not bm. Rather just something he has grown used to doing while playing with other Koreans

DIMAGA wouldn't accept a lose when both players were in their bases at 2:30 lol. He had a higher chance to lose, but I'm pretty sure no one would give up a tourney because of a disconnect at the beginning of the game.

Also this version of battle net is wors than previous. I never had a DC for a month before this Bnet 2.0 and now I get them pretty often God if only they decide to make Lan for SC II it would only boost the popularity of SC II with loss of some $$$ for Blizz but come on they can get $$$ from their "Cash Cow" - World of Warcraft.

I think you misunderstood my post or it wasn't clear - I was trying to argue *against* the idea that Cool accepting the regame with same BOs could be considered BM. Its obviously up to him what kind of regame he wants. If I were him I'd be pissed that there was a regame at all.

Yeah, I'd be so pissed that my 7 pool didn't give me a free win.
