It was actually definitely 16 pool, its pretty standard to either 14 hatch or very late pool on DO zvz because the distance is huge and you're safe from anything but 6-7 pool.

Shouldn't really have been a re-play imho. It wasn't even a straight 16pool but a 16pool with overmins from originally planning a 16 hatch making it almost a 17 pool.

I dont know much about the ZvZ style (I play Protoss), and I missed the last 2 games, but it seems that basically if you get the hatch down before they get too many zerglings there, the fast expo player wins. Pretty much sums it up?

Dont know why, but these Zergling/Baneling vs Zergling/Baneling are strangely entertaining, although I feel like it shouldn't be an interesting matchup

If Cool wants to use different builds then that's definitely up to him. He's the non-discing player and is allowed to make such a decision. I assume he thinks that if Dimaga gets time to think about how to respond the 7 pool vs 16 pool wasn't a sure win.

I don't know. I don't think any standard of sportsmanship could possibly expect someone to give up an advantage like that - there is nothing even slightly unfair (to Dimaga) about remaking with same BOs, if anything I feel it would give Dimaga a small edge, just because I feel it would be easier psychologically knowing what is coming even if you couldn't react the way you wanted.

I guess I just want to push back against the idea - which of course was not explicitly in your posts - that accepting the re-game with same BOs could ever be considered BM or bad sportsmanship.

edit: Like Nazgul said, I assume he thought his chances would be better this way. At any rate, the disc certainly seemed to work out in Dimaga's favor.
