my opponent posts that he can't come (the opponent that I see vs me in the ro32 bracket) - so I decide to go take a shower and get back to my comp 10 minutes before 9pm , get on SC2... msg Diamond. he tells me to msg Tesla. I msg Tesla. No response. I wait 20 minutes, Diamond msgs me. then I get another msg from some other guy saying that I was replaced because I wasn't online (?) - when I wasn't contacted via TL or anywhere. just wasted almost 50 minutes sitting wondering what was going on just to find out I've been replaced by someone even though my ro32 opponent never showed up, so I wouldn't have had to start my match until 9 anyways..... =[ I could've been cooking dinner. | ||

The difference here is that she is a bad caster but since it's a girl you are supposed to pretend otherwise and there's an army of moderators trying to enforce the facade that she contributes to the cast in some way. At some point you have to ask yourself if it's worth all the hassle just to have a female voice on your stream | ||

On a more personal note, the comments made by myself during the commentary were those of my own opinions and experiences, as expressed when stated. What I said was that EMP is easy to obtain and when used correctly will pacify Immortals and Sentries. So the Protoss need to make intelligent use of Forcefields to divide/relocate the Terran army and avoid early game EMPs. I went on to add that I believe it is unfair to the Terrans (not the Protoss) to have a matchup built around one single ability, in this case EMP. My comments were meant to indicate that the TvP matchup was bottlenecked into the Terrans having to get EMP and the Protoss responding with High Templars and/or Colossi - which seems unfair to the Terran in my opinion. I don't think a match-up should be balanced around a single ability. | ||

@ Silent'Assassin: That is exactly what we are doing. They have "x" amount of tries while in the Pro League and if they fail them, they must come back and play in the ITC to get back into the ITL. So dont worry ^^ | ||

Art's analysis was actually pretty good in his casts, Tesla would make a great caster if she got the game down. I look forward to my next chance at ITC. I actually just switched from Random to Zerg(because of the forced pick and how hard learning 9 MU's is) the day of the tourney so I only had 4 hours to try to make it decent. After starting Zerg I've gotten a lot better. GoGo, Attero! I don't know how you do it... lol. | ||

In the future I hope we don't have to find replacements for 15/32 of the players, so that way there wont be a 30 minute delay to start off. To those of you who signed up but didnt show, please keep in mind the amount of work put in to this is taxing on some of us, and if you don't show up to play your part then someone else has to fix it. Still trying to get the last places and some back ups filled up. If you have any friends (especially Terran and Zerg players) that want to compete, get them to sign up here or to message me. Check in time is still looking at being at 7 (Eastern time). If you're not checked in by 7:30, I will begin looking for a replacement. Most likely the first round will be more of a once you and your opponent is checked in, feel free to start. Second round will begin at 9 as always. All players will have to wait to start the second round at 9 as that is when the livestream goes live. I will be making a revised copy of the rules and times so everything is clear. They will be posted at least 24 hours in advance, hopefully alongside a completed bracket. Also, big note. REPLAYS. You send me the replays for all ITC matches you play by the end of the ITC, or you don't compete in the next one. There are a lot of casters with iCCup, and they enjoy spending the nights with no events casting replays. So even if your game isn't streamed live, there is a really good chance your game will get streamed as a replay. So I ask that you send me the replays (I'll post my email with the revised rules/brackets) as soon as you can. We like watching you guys play, and odds are, 500ish people will like watching your replays being streamed as well. Send them in, people will get to see you play if you do. Please be prepared from 8:50 – 9:10 to start your second round match. 9 PM – Livestream Goes Live: Also at 9, the Livestream will go live. We will be casting one match each round. The purpose of sending in these replays is so that we can stream your games and put them up as VODs. We enjoy watching you guys play and we want to help others see you guys play, so send us the replays and they will most likely be streamed on our Livestream or posted on YouTube. SEND US THE REPLAYS!! Tournament Format Round 1 (32 Players): Best Of 1. Round 2 (16 Players): Best Of 1. Round 3 (8 Players): Best Of 3. Round 4 (4 Players): Best Of 3. If the game is not being streamed, players are allowed to have friends spectate if BOTH players agree to it. 5) Respect all players and iCCup Staff. Probably don't have to say " beautiful storm " every single time it is casted. Storms are pretty easy to cast in SC2 making them less beautiful than SC1. Also when they go off every 5 seconds and just against hydra/roach it just isn't anything special. | ||
