 I find it interesting that this thread is full of second guessing on who should be invited, while the TLI wasn't to the same extent. I sort of feel sorry for the really good ladder players who feel left out, but maybe they should sign up for some open tournaments and make a name for themselves outside of the ladder. There are probably 100 Platinium League across the 3 realms so being #1 in one of them doesn't really qualify to get invited to an invitational. It requires something extra... go get that something extra! | ||

Entertainment goes hand in hand with top tier players clashing. With this uneven skilldistribution, certain players will almost be guaranteed a free pass to R2. Obviously not fair when you consider the prize at hand. I can see how you wish to focus this on american players as the sponsor is, as far as I know american, and it`s going to be hosted on the US server. With this in mind, excluding Nony seems awfully, awfully wrong. as a sidenote, great by the sponsor raising such a hefty cash prize. gg | ||

Agree with OHSHIFT and Sc2GGRise people need to stop complaining about invitationals, make a topic where you have polls about what you want to see in invitationals or something man. It's a great way to reward the players who give so much to the community through their streams or replays or whatever. | ||
