Wow really nice tourney, so many invite tourneys now, once the full game comes out hopefully we can follow in the tradition of the tsl2 with open laddering for spots, so some of us less-well-known players have a shot. Sick tourney though, thanks to the sponsor!

Obviously some of us are gonna be sad about not getting in. But I know that famous people are famous for a reason (they got skills!), and that everyone in the tourney deserves their invite. Didn't mean to imply otherwise. =)

It's a bit weird to make an invite only tournament since you two do commentaries for players of lesser skill.

But looking forward to it!

*shrug* Maybe there are personal issues? Invite tourneys, depending on the sponsors & their intentions, can be all sorts of weird with regards to who they invite. Part of why I like open tourneys better, but I'll probably be watching anyways to know who's the best in this bunch.

But yea I'd like to see Nony in an important SC 2 tourney, considering he *is* the TSL champion.

Maybe if they ever do this again they could do something like qualifying tournaments. This is such a huge payout to limit it to just 16 people. There are so many good players out there.

They can invite whoever they want, that's why it's an invitational tournament, otherwise they may as well just call it a "top rated ladder player tournament".

This will be great, glad to see day9 in the action instead of watching it! (Even though I love him casting).

Like many have said invite tournaments don't mean top ladder point getters, the organizers have a certain list that they feel will make it the most entertaining to watch and cast. Good luck to all who get invited!
