Hyun is on his 16th win streak when a barcode Terran comes in.
He utterly crushes HyuN with his 3 rax reaper build.
This build is amazing in the fact that despite the amount of reapers you build, it is in fact a build in which you safely take a 3rd while crippling the zerg very heavily.
You will probably need decent multitasking ability to pull this off.
This build works great on any 2 player map, but works best on ones with a back door expansion (Orbital Shipyard). Zed from Starcraft Gallery had a pretty good breakdown of it and this is going to be a paraphrasing.
(writer was in Diamond league at the time and had 12 straight wins vs Zerg with this build)
Basic Build Order
First SCV pops - supply
Rax-Gas (both on 16)
Do not stop producing workers as you add on a 2nd and 3rd rax asap.
Right after your 3rd rax, get up a 2nd Gas.
When 1st rax finishes, get reaper, make supply depot,
when you get 3 reapers (including ones in production), go Orbital Command.
Keep on building Reapers until you have a healthy count (6-9) and when you have 400 minerals while doing so go take your natural.
If zerg is coming across the field with slow lings, almost auto win. With no econ and your first lings compromised, gg.
If zerg went hatch first, zerg will probably get 4-6 lings and a queen when the reaper comes in. If they don't notice that you are pumping reapers out from 3 rax, their next larvae will probably be drones. Too late since your 1 reaper will turn to 3, then 6, 9, and Queens and lings will be decimated by the reaper bombs.
If zerg notices you are getting more reapers, they will probably go for ling speed, get more queens and try to minimize ling and drone damage until speed is complete.
Now, what you as the Terran must do, is to not get greedy and dive in creep. Do not make a lot of reapers but transition into tech Keep your reapers in a tight choke point(ramp) and just control creep spread from coming too close to the reapers. The key is to make sure zerg does not take a third base, as you tech up to medivacs and a third base back home.
The Zerg is forced to macro off from a heavy back foot, or go for a slipshod all in (roach/ravager or ling bane roach) that you should be able to defend back at your base with a few bunkers and a tank. Remember not to overcommit to Reapers and macro up behind this.
Tip:
Note how zerg is dealing with your reaper "harass", whether they are getting a roach warren, or a baneling nest. If they are getting out roaches, add on double tech labs and get out a marauders and a tank. If Zerg decides to go for a third, then hit them with a double medivac timing like Byun does in the linked game. The Zerg will not have much money and will probably have to tap out.
Never lose your reapers. If you see speedlings, do not go in too aggressively. Reaper bombs are the key to making this all possible.
If you are a Zerg, you can probably feel this build incoming when there is a second reaper coming toward you. Get speed and a spine crawler up immediately since there is no such thing as a 3 reaper expansion in LOTV (idk if it happens in lower leagues atm but...) if it is indeed the 3 rax reaper build, there should only be around 5 reapers by the time your spine is finished. You have to hold on with only lings and queens until then(would like to add that it definitely is possible). Now, get half lings and half drones. Don't commit too much to either side or you will result in getting crushed one way or another. If the map does have a back door expansion, send more drones to that natural to keep them from getting sniped.
