I've been working really hard to create this guide about an easy to execute build order in Zerg versus Zerg. It is a very well rounded build order that works incredibly good in the current metagame and is the build order that most professionals use.
The written version of the build order:
IdrA’s Zerg versus Zerg Build Order -=-=-=-=-=-=- 15 hatch 15 pool 17 gas vs Standard Build Order
Pretty good build order, but you obviously have to have decent control to hold off 1-base baneling/early pools/Tangs ling all in. You should probably give liquipedia credit for IdrAs bio on your own website though

Yeah, this is easier to play and defend though. If your micro isn't super good, this kind of timing will be much saver in general.
If you play Zerg, you need to master the bling/sling wars . I know its extremely frustrating to learn but if you're try to avoid them you will play scared in many circumstances and get behind.

Yep, very true.
But this is honestly just a mtter of practise/playing games. You don't learn this from watching games. You really need to check out a solid build, go with it, and practise. When you lose to bling ling, figure out what went wrong.

As for the actually content, I like what you're doing.
I put a little link to the content. Forgot to do so. Thanks for noticing it for me.
I'm not sure if everyone does this but when the baneling nest is nearing completion I build 4 lings. I scout with my two initial lings and if I see a big speedling or speed bane all in I can instantly morph 4 banelings at home
It's quite standard, but it's still slightly unsafe imo. I haven't had good experience with hatch first ZvZ on a mid-diamond level, about 75% of the time I die. So I saw this build that Jaedong performed on his stream a few weeks ago in a ZvZ: 15 pool 16 hatch. The hatch is a little delayed, but zerglings come out in a more timely fashion, and you can double queen from the main hatch and send the first queen down to the natural. Timings are also nice: @ 16 hatch, you're at 15 supply; you make an overlord with the first larva that spawns then; extractor when pool finishes, so speed is on par against 1 base baneling builds. That's just a personal preference. Idra's build works too but this Jaedong-variation is safer imo.
edit: forgot to add some stuff. Baneling nest as soon as you get enough gas, then only make defensive banelings. Then lair asap then roaches and infestors and upgrades etc just like any standard ZvZ. Hydras are really good to incorporate too.
