Is there a guide to zvz ling bane micro? I see pros effortlessly kill of like 12 lings and 6 banes with about 22 lings. Do they drag select off the lings to kill the banes and then re-bind the remaining lings or do they just do everything with drag selection?

How important is it to do the worker pairing for certain strategies that the progamers do? So how much more minerals do you get from it?

Yes, it is a pretty big tell. Combined with the lack of expo pins you to a 1/1/1.

When I have say, 4 scvs and 6 marines selected and I put down two bunkers near my opponents ramp, is there any system as to which SCV will be building the bunkers? Also, my scvs often seem to run to where they are supposed to build the bunker, then step away for 2 seconds and then go back to place it - how does this work?

During early game TvP and I'm scouting, what am I looking for? Gas, chrono, etc.

What about first unit? What does it say when the P chronos out a Zealot, Sentry, or Stalker? What if he doesn't?

Hello.

Why do we almost never see mech in TvP? I've been doing the build Day9 showed on one of his dailies (the mech in tvp daily) a few months ago and it has been working out great for me. So yeah, how come we never see pros go mech?

Mech currently has great potential to become a standard way to play but has not been refined so things like mobilty are often abused by protoss players. Thats not to say terrans wont find a way to deal with it but for now people prefer to stick to the proven bio ghost viking composition.

In PvP, how do you stop a zealot rush? My opponent built a pylon and 2 gates near my base and I had zealots incoming @ 3:33.

struggled with that before, too

its important to scout it. always check for proxy locations for example on shattered temple at your gold.
as soon as you scout it go fpr a second gateway. further imprtant thing. pull probes! your opponent is behind in ways of economy, so you "can" lose some and still are equal economywise afterwards.

i kept not pulling probes because i thought i would be too far behind in economy if i pull probes. but its necessary

in addition to what the guy above said if you have your core/assimilator down before you scout it your best bet is to just chrono as many stalkers as you can afford and go for a base trade. see naniwa vs. huk from MLG colombus

If you go 14 pool and hatch after 2 sets of lings its not such a problem since the lings will finish the pylon off fairly quickly, if you want to hatch faster than that you can take another base (check for cannons though) and take your natural after that, e.g if you were going quick third counter FFE.

Maybe the hatch cancel roach build where you build a hatchery to fool the protoss, save up larva whilst denying scout with speedlings and then cancelling hatchery to build a bunch of roaches. Works sometimes against FFE.

You're interested in the Binomial distribution with n=3, p=0.6. It's a bit complicated by the fact that the series can go 2-0 in favor of one player, but if we assume they played all 3 games, the expected distribution is:
0-3: 6%
1-2: 29%
2-1: 43%
3-0: 22%
So you expect the player with a 60% winrate to take the series 65% of the time.

For Zerg would having one spine and a few lings be better than having three spines and no lings and more drones to hold of really early pressure
