(I tried to calm 5-10 minutes after each loss but I just pissed off all day long because of a loss/few losses, I tried push-ups but I still pissed off. I never BM in a game and I always say "gg" and leave but I get so angry on myself on the way I played) Because of it I just can't ladder for long sessions as losses get me so frustrated. Should I just force myself to spam ladder games?

The Select build has like, a reaper for some reason and some other weirdness but at least it has a CC in the build order, which the standard "2 rax pressure FE" seems not to have ._. So I work with what I got, I guess EDIT: Maybe the solution here is I should get off my ass and go edit liquipedia a bit so I have better articles to link to lol

It's super safe and really nice. Tech lab first is more of a very fast kill stuff thing than a standard pressure build. The standard 2 rax doesn't have CC since it's merely an opening. You can transition to a CC or some kind of other 1 base. That''s part of the reason why it is the standard.

Should I just force myself to spam ladder games? Unless you're playing in a tournament, where it matters, you should have no negative feelings over a ladder loss. While the anger shows your care about improving, being angry WON'T help you improve. You say you get angry at yourself for how you played, but instead of that, you should just approach the losses as learning experiences. You're probably too hooked on the final result (omg do I win or lose this? Do I get the ladder pointzzzzzz?!), so you just need to stop considering win/loss as important if you want to improve. Anybody? Depends. By sending half your Drones right away, you're halving your income for the duration of their travel time. However, mining with 2x11 workers is more efficient than mining with 22. I'd say it depends on how starved you are for minerals at the time of the transfer, as well as the travel distance. If it's a longer travel distance or I need short-term cash, I'd leave my Drones where they are and simply prioritise my expansion's Larvae for making Drones.

Anybody? Transfering drones vs keeping drones and re-rallying doesn't matter in terms of overall mining. You can think of it mathematically. Transfering immediately loses some mining per drone transfered as a funciton of time. But re-rallying has the same effect over the course of a longer period of time but with fewer drones at any given moment. The total "loss" however will be the same. Now the moments when you want to transfer are if you are over "optimal" saturation. Meaning if you have over 16 on minerals and 3 per geyser. You should then transfer all other drones (past 16 on mins 3 per gas) to your expansion and re-rally. Or if you can keep track of it, transfer enough so that you'll have an even amount on mins on each. I personally find the latter cumbersome as when I take a 3rd it becomes more difficult to retain the proportion of drones. And each further expo increases mining distance and difficulty Although the re-rally also has issues because you don't want drones constantly moving accross the map. However the benefit of doing this on 2 base I find is that it allows me to better time and recognize when I need to take a 3rd base or when I can opt to make units and not drone as each additional drone brings in only marginal income if I don't take a 3rd quickly for some reason. (as my second becomes optimally saturated)

Anybody? After you have 16 drones at your expo, the next 4 mine at half the rate, and the next 4 at about quarter the rate I think, so if you have less than saturated expo and a base with 17+ drones, you should always transfer. In your example of 22 drones, you should transfer 6 of them and probably rally both hatcheries to your expo.
