Since games have to be played on battle.net, you can only really find tournament maps via battle.net's custom map system of which you can only download individual maps rather than packs. You can search for the prefixes "GSL", "MLG", "NASL", "TSL3", and "ICCUP" for respective maps (although I don't guarantee you'll automatically get great search results -_-).

Is it a rush if its 10 minutes into a game and you attack your opponent? My friend always cries out that I rush him and that the only reason why I beat him but I just think he can't handle any early aggression.

Yo just a quick question hopefully someone can help out but I heard I can set creep to 0 and lock in framerates somehow.
My game ONLY lags when I vs zerg and Its the most annoying thing ever, especially when I wanna dodge banes, it just cant happen...

10 minutes is almost midgame already.

Depends how far up the tech tree you are "rushing". If you are getting BCs 10 minutes into the game its a rush. Marines 10 minutes into the game isn't.

When I lost to this, my zerg opponent recommends going charge lot, light on sentry (FF is counterproductive now due to fungal growth), and pump colossus as you would normally do.
Later tech onto HT to storm lings and feedback infestor.
I'm interested to hear from better playrers on this. I am a low master only.

I've been told that 2 rax FE is a good macro based opening for Terran vs All. Is this true? If possible does anyone have a link/replay of someone doing it very well, as i am struggling to find one.
Also, what time should i be looking at expanding?
Thanks.

I group all my queens on 4 and early-midgame I group my main to 5, my nat 6, and my third to 7. I know it's kind of inefficient, but I've gotten too used to it to change. Once I get my fourth, I group all my hatches onto 5 for easier late game macro. Is there a way, even after grouping all my hatches, so that when I hit 5-5 I still go back to my main every time?

Is there any way possible to change a hotkey for patrol? Instead of reaching across the keyboard to hit the P button, I want to access patrol rather easily on the left side of the keyboard. I couldn't find any way to change the hotkey. So does anybody know if it's possible, and how can i do it?

No but you could set a location to a hotkey, there is a standard that I dont know but I map setting locations to ctrl + f2, f3, f4, f5 and then clicking f2, f3, f4, f5 gets you to those locations
My question - when does each season of liquibets for SC2 begin or end?

The patrol hotkey is under the unit-specific hotkeys in the editor. Note that even though you modify it on a particular unit's command card, changing it will change patrol for every other unit in the game supports it.

Back in the broodwar days...even 4pool is not cheese. You can still see many epic macro games that opens up with 4pool...

MY "SIMPLE?" QUESTION:
I have questions, but honestly, I'm a little scared to create a thread about it - doubt it warrants a thread anyways but if someone with a little more reputation on this forum wanted to create one I would love to read the responses:
I was watching people streaming on BW yesterday and they looked like they had some pretty sick unit control and micro/macro even with the crappy BW UI/AI
I noticed that even though that guy was doing so awesome, he was only C+ on ICCup
What is the equivalent of C+ on ICCup to the league system in place today? high Masters? becuase i'm mid masters, and that guy was WAYYY better than me
What about B+ or A etc.?
EDIT: btw, I did do a search for this info. I found a comparison of ICCup to the league but it was from last august and not entirely relavent today

Um...different game is different? You really can't compare. SlayerS_BoxerR, who is clearly top in BW, got wtfpwned the moment he joined sc2. The two game simply works too differently to be compared.

Ok, so i read the law post of sarecen wich scared me a little bit so i got to think about my [Q] and under what catagory it should be, i think for most terrans this awnser will be pretty easy. so this is the thread for me.
Also i looked hard for a similar question with the search but did not find it, so im praying my judgement of correct (i dont post often)
my question:
hi all, i have a scouting question,
I recently started playing sc2 again. Im a Terran, and i notice something that can sometimes really anger me. I know my scouting is not horrible but for some reason by the time i make a "timed push" as they call it i always get attacked when my army is somehwere else, it pains me to backtrank my intire army all the way back to defend. (e.a. by marine drop, mutas..) god muta's really makes my teeth clinche! And afterwards im to scared to push again.
this is not good for me, because i also notice that most of my wins are with pressure plays. and not the macro until 200 and make a doom push.
Are there any tips for me not to be suprised with my pants down?
so the question in short: how do you make sure its safe to make a attack while knowing its safe to do so.
hope you people have some good advice for me? I tried to think of it myself ofcourse but everything i do try just seems wrong to me and there might be a better way...
ps. when i playd at the beginning of sc2 (also beta) i was top gold and i noticed this was less of a trouble for me. But i cant seem to get why i have so much trouble with it now.

Your friend is a wimp and a whiner. 10 minutes is early-midgame already. Anyways, tell him if he can't handle early aggression he is terrible anyways and needs to improve in that area.

SlayerS_BoxeR is doing well in SC2. If he went back to SC:BW right now I don't imagine he would do much better.
SC1 and SC2 skills are very similar as the game is fundamentally the same (micro/macro etc.).
Every pro SC:BW player who has commit themself to SC2 is doing very well. ICCup ranking are very comparable to the current league system.
I never played SC1 ICCup (I played fastest possible money maps) so I have no idea what my equivalent skill level would have been in SC:BW. Perhaps someone who palyed on both ICCup and SC2 ladder would be more qualified to answer my question
