Make another one for zerg =[, maybe fungals and burrow micro? I've been thinking of zerg scenarios - but its really hard. I hate to say this but zerg really doesn't require that much micro in most situations.
Do ling/infestor vs. tank/marine. That would be cool.
[edit] Hmm.. That could be very hard to set up. Maybe do baneling/ling vs. tank/marine, and just keep adding more tanks and marines?

Hydralisks VS Speed banes on creep would be interesting to say the least lol.
Maybe quick roach walling VS banelings and zerglings?
Sigh.. I guess only zerg units can be microd against.

PS. If enough people PM Dr. DeadMeat I will send him the EU map

;( I got to level 6 and then I cried myself to sleep

Nivel 10 completed.. Thanks a lot Griffith I needed a way to practice my FF and this UMS helped me a lot.

how are you guys ffing? i try to cut the army in half with 4-5 FF's, but it seems to help them get a better concave
|
Pretty cool, Griffith. Keep up the good work.
|
Any chance you can publish it on EU? if u want i can pub it. i really want to play this map xD
|
To be honest, there's not many situations where roaches can get a full concave vs. Protoss. It's not like marine splitting challenge where the extra space is handy.

It's not realistic, but it's still a fun challenge.
Level 6 on one try, need to work on the forcefielding a bit though, gonna try more after I finish my hw.
Does the setting in the custom game setup menu game speed actually change anything because unless there's a way to tell ingame, it's possible some people might set it to slowest to get high scores which defeats the purpose of this UMS.

i personally think the ai of the map is limiting. Instead of the usual attack move, when you try and cave in roaches with FF, it will run into the stalker ball, and try and chase the stalker that blinked. This means that ff's are pratically useless once there are enough roaches on screen, and also defeats the purpose of the map - micro (seeing as you can't micro really)
|
got to level 12
checked after and you can infact change the game speed, so you probably want to fix that. Also you need to add something to wipe existing forcefields on the round reset.
I didn't use either of these but I'm sure i could probably get level 17+ with it.

these maps are the best thing to happen to the UMS section

I really like these micro training maps against the CPU... BW had a lot of them but SC2 does not.
Maybe in the future you could create some other versions with different types of units, or maybe make a big map where you can choose what type of fight(rine vs bling/ stalker vs roach/ etc.)

I can "fix" this quite easily tbh, but I just thought that the current way would provide a bit more of a challenge

Might want to consider having the roaches and lings stay in the corner for a half second before attacking. Right now I barely manage to get my control groups up before the slings have already surrounded my units
I'm still failing at lvl 5.
Got to lvl 10 with only roaches so far.
