That video is definitely fake.

Also, I just realize I split much better when marines are running down and to the right. In other directions it feels so much harder (probably because my drag-select is down and to the right?). Can't beat level 18 doing it manually.

wtf im pretty sure past level 12 is impossible. I seriously played this game like 4 hours straight once with my internet off, and I still couldn't beat it.

or maybe it was 13? does anyone know when it ends?

edit: im pretty sure the guy from that video is jesus christ himself.

or MVP/anonymous.

edit2: on second glance, it's an AI. you can't select individual marines that fast. or that guy has a hand that is literally faster than a mother fucking hummingbirds wings.

Can someone post a replay in the new patch on how this is done. I am finding it so hard, I patrol it and move they still rape. The Blings seem to come from all directions not just one area, sometimes ahead and top sometimes left and sometimes right so I getin the crossfire. what do you guys do, split control groups up and move them across directions and then attack move and stutter?

Ok i'll try to do a session of marines split challenge on my stream and will upload the rep, so you'll have vod and rep, but i didn't play it for a while so it might be funny at the begginning, perhaps i'll do it tomorrow afternoon.

hey Griffith, would you mind adding a function that added your 30 marines to the hotkeys? I often split, and when i am content, 1a back to the center to stop the moving marines. I feel like this would add more than it could take away, and would make this practice a little more realistic

. Anyway, just a thought.

20! Patrol Split then when it's all done there should be about 2-3 marines left that I micro around

Run them farthest away from eachother and the others so that I can get more shots in

The guy who uploaded the video most likely played the map on the slowest speed, then recorded the replay on "fastest" speed so it looks like he has gosu micro.

And getting past 12 is definitely possible. I can get usually get to 12 without losing a round now... still can't beat level 18 (without patrol) though.

After playing this map, splitting against speedbanes off creep is a joke now. I've found optimal splitting off creep to be very different, as you want to try to do maximum DPS with the marines while avoiding damage as well (kind of like stutter stepping while splitting at the same time), while this isn't really possible on creep since banes become faster than marines on it.

NOOO lvl 11 on sling mode... the slings surround ur marines and marines kill slings instead of blings... so hard
