I wanna see Jangbi on number ten. Hes on a 8 game win streak in pvz, same pvt as always [read great], and despite getting cheesed out of the osl by light [damn him to hell] hes in the msl, will probably go far, and is genuinely strong in all match ups. He looks good enough to be 10 for me- but thats the thing, he looks good now. Jangbi is so god damn inconsistent.
Can you dig it?

both those are good players. the fact that stork won without much problem, is a sign that he has returned strong, he hasnt lost much during the last months. So either you like it or not, Stork will soon yet again become PR material

You're a fool, Dongrae and tester are low-tier bottom feeder pros. they are awful players with an awful career spanning many years.

Look, I'll help you out. Here's 20 pros not currently on the PR that would be heavy favourites against tester and dongrae:

Light
Jangbi
Pure
Much
Stork
Firebathero
Shine

Jangbi took a beating from Light in bo3, i want Much (uber games vs forGG) and Stork (qualified, finalist on WCG Korea, as always losing the final) on 9 and 10 spots.
I have the ultimate answer, i seek the ultimate question

Getting cheesed twice after raping someone in a macro game is not 'taking a beating'. Its getting cheesed out of an osl, thats it.

I still stand by what i said that Carriers are IMPOSSIBLE to beat on Plasma. Light was VERY prepared for them by the time Jangbi had them but theres just nothing he could do with the ridges everywhere.

Watch it again, seriously. At the time when Jangbi starts to build his first Stargate, he is at 171 supply. Light at that time is at 127....

On any normal map, Jangbi would have roflstomped Light then and there, and been done with it. But with those ridges everywhere, protoss cannot break the terran push without either carriers, or arbiters. Flanking is impossible, and the distances are super short. Case in point, you saw how superior Stork was to Dongrae? When Stork finally managed to get into Dongrae's main, he was 150 to 70, and had put down 3 stargates + beacon. Again, on any other map, it would have been over 10 minutes earlier.

If terran cannot stop toss from getting those carriers, they are terrible, and deserve to lose.

Plasma is actually very, very hard TvP. Don't be fooled by the current record on it, Terran will have a hellacious time winning any games against Protoss on it

Hmm, I'm not sure about the late game, but I know Terran have a huge opportunity to simply roll over the protoss before their economy gets going.

That's not true. In fact, it's less true than it is on other maps.

Are there going to be any more games this month besides tonights? I'm pretty sure this is the progamer vacation; they had one mid august last year. We might have a PR a week early. on time actually since FS has been posting them a week into the month lately.

Why is that? From my perspective, it looks like it's a lot harder to mess with the terran before they have their tanks + siege mode, and once they have those, the eggs are pretty much no barrier at all. And then the bases are really close. Protoss doesn't have any opportunity to slow the advance like on a map such as Blue Storm.

Yeah. The mains are also so small, when the push gets going the protoss has to break it or hes going to be smashed. Its happened [or tried] in virtually every pvt game I've seen on plasma.

TheZerg has been pulling out some really inspiring play recently, in both the STX masters against July and Hwasin AND the OSL against Hwasin and Rumble, and Hwasin's supposed to be a TvZ specialist. TheZerg for PR 10 next month?

I would love to see thezerg on PR, not only did he beat Hwasin 3 times this month, but he looked damn good while he did it, too. But there have been so many who have shown strong play lately, like Much, Jangbi, Stork, Sea and Fantasy. Given that PR only have 10 spots, not everyone will get one.

theres too many new guys raping faces, thezergs been impressive but theres just too many who have been more impressive for him to get a spot.

next ranking is gonna be hard to judge though since alot of the top spots havent been playing much as theyre seeded past the qualifiers and there isnt any proleague.
