If Fakesteve follows through on his Stork boycott for August I might have to make my own subversive PR.

there is no stork boycott, there are simply months where stork isn't on the power rank

however, next month he will be. he looks pretty good again, and has only lost to jaedong in recent memory. strong performances after several months of inadequacy.

I'm excited to see Midas/Stork back on the PR.

I'm curious to know what you think about FBH and by.fantasy FS?

Do you think they could warrant a CBNC?

FBH is a great player, but hasn't been top 10 material for quite some time. Personally I'm a huge fan, but he won't be in the top 10 next month.

Fantasy is another player I really like. I was confident he'd win his MST group, and he did. I was confident he'd win his OSL Round 1 group, and he did. However, while the ability to play at the level Fantasy plays at is to be commended, the ability to play like that through a major league is another beast altogether. Fantasy rules ass, in my mind he's one of the best Terrans around. We'll have to see where he goes in MSL/OSL. Or perhaps he'll find himself at the bottom of September's PR, depending on what the list I'm satisfied with is.

If FBH brushes up his TvP, I feel we could see much better play out of him. Champion material? Not even, but he could probbaly make it to RO38 of any starleague. Problem is, he's probably too weathered to make a huge difference in his play now.

I agree about Fantasy, what a badass.

And Leta too, holy fuck. I'd be shocked if he wasn't in the top 4 next PR tbh.

I think forgg should still be #2 next month atleast. Losing to much and stork TvP is nothing to be ashamed of. Especially since he's been practicing for 3 leagues simultaneously. Also i don't think you can even count losing to much against him. He had to play 8 games on the same day. Gotta give the guy a break.

The real reason why Forgg should be #2 next month is because there is no other player who deserves that spot. Flash was stomed in GSL and WCG and Luxury just got eliminated from an SL by a no name toss. Who can take it, Leta? Much? he is hot in only 1 match up and isn't even on the PR. Forgg is a definite second.

Well that no-name toss is Tempest)Is( and he has been a pro for a long time. And did you even watch that game? Tempest is no bad player.

If you have been a pro for one year and have only played 5 televized games you are a no name in my eyes when you come up against someone like Luxury.

The point of the post was that Luxury is in no contention for a top spot. Luxury was a heavy favourite against tempest and lossing to him and being eliminated from an SL is going to knock Luxury into a lower spot. So even if tempest played really well, it doesn't change the fact that Lux is going to get dropped in the rankings.

That same noname toss you are talking about 2-0'd July out of the MSL in the offline qualifiers, and July is arguablly top 3 ZvP with Luxury and Jaedong joining him.If anything this means Tempest is one player to look out for and its not Luxury's weakness.

I generally would agree, and Tempest certainly didn't play bad. But Luxury made several mistakes, most notably canceling his lair. Plain and simple, Luxury didn't play like the 5th best player in the world, neither in that game, or in the losers match. Failing to play your best when needed the most generally lead to demotion on the PR.

This is true. Tempest is worth respect, but Luxury certainly didn't play up to his ability.

And fear not, Much fans. I see a return in the future

Is Sea making the September power rank, or does he have to prove he can get past the Ro16 in a Starleague first? 8-2 in August and in both leagues is better than just about everyone else.

Yes, Sea will be on the power rank. He destroyed basically everyone he played, and looked great doing it.

He's already hinted at Jangbi making an appearance.

There's no reason Kal would drop significantly.

This is the most interesting month in quite a long time. There are a lot of players who are coming out of slumps, or just in general playing very well. Methinks the CBNC section will be quite full next week
