I voted that it's just right now, there are too many actually but that doesn't really matter to me. I follow GSL and some foreign tournaments like DH/MLG/HSC. It's way too much to watch everything going on so you just have to pick a few that you really like imo.

As others have said, more is definitely better, but as far as I'm concerned, it's it can get very hard to keep track of them, and it is MASSIVELY time-wasting when I decide I want to keep track of multiple events... Obviously that is my fault alone, but the number of events can definitely be a bit overwhelming at times, despite the fact that more is objectively better in this case.

Although i can not keep track of all of them, that does not mean there are too many events. I agree that the more the better! also the bigger the better!!

I picked the current amount is fine.
First I like to have a choice what to watch, though also there shouldn't be way to many tournaments which might actually hurt the community a bit because a tournament will draw less viewers due to the amount of other tournaments going on.

I like to see it as watching TV. Theres a lot of channels on for many different viewers. And i pick the ones I wanna watch

I think the amount of LAN's are too few but the amount of internet shizzle is too much! Impossible to watch anything seriously for me at least when I check TL and there are 4-5 online tournaments going on. I usually just check 1 player stream instead.

Not too many tournaments, but I would like to be able to keep up with them more easily. JP's show, SC Center did a recap of all the tournaments going on daily, but since he's moving that's on hold.

That's like saying are there too many golf tournaments, and maybe we should only play the majors. Maybe like saying too many baseball games so we should get rid of the Minor Leagues.

The best players will only go to the best tournaments. The second tier tournaments will be where up and coming players can make a name for themselves before they break out. The rest of the tournaments are the beer leagues where Joe McBronzeleague can bullshit with his friends.

The more the better, that is how other sports are. Many minor tournaments, and some big ones that are followed by big numbers of ppl.

Btw about this LoL stream size, do you really actually belive that almost exact number of LOL users watched the game and the same time were log onto the server? Aint that coincidence?

personally, there are too many for me to keep track of. This is especially true since I've started watching fighting game community stuff as well. I'm not complaining about any of this at all though. I remember back in beta there was maybe one big event a week or so and everyone kept with that, but now you get your choice of what you want to see. No longer do I have to subsist on youtube replay casts. There is almost always a good tournament coming up with high caliber players and great commentary. If you open up a bit and like esports stuff in general, and you'll never be bored.
I blame LO3 for me getting into other stuff in the esports community. Thanks guys!

Too many to keep track of, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I really like it because if I ever want to watch SC2 desperately, I won't be deprived.

Don't be selfish, you don't need to watch everything more events generally equals more money or at least more distribution of money for pros.
