Since Aug 1 discounting PL all stars/STX cup (Flash was 1W1L JD 2W2L in those games):
J - 23W 10L - 69.7% F - 24W 8L - 75%
Opponents quite comparable.
MSL Finals - Pretty emphatically a Flash victory, was not as close as a 3-2 would indicate, but also on favorable T maps.
IMO who takes first depends heavily on how the OSL goes. If Flash wins he's first absolutely no doubt. If JD dominates he's first (3-0 or 3-1 with giving away a game). If JD wins pretty emphatically (3-1 or 3-2 giving away a game) I would say its even so JD must retain first. If it's a tight 3-2 JD victory I think Flash would have done enough to retake first.
Only sad part is that we still have 1.5 days left to wait.

Here's another: If you extrapolate 3 and 2 out times 100 you have 300-200. Whoa, blows your mind doesn't it. Yeah, that's why numbers are pretty meaningless, and the whooping that was put on Jaedong in that final is what you should be focused on.
Unfortunately they are not close, and I really do mean that. I'd like nothing more than to have 3 kings, one from each race to keep things interesting, but the reality is that there is a huge gap between Jae and Flash and everyone else, and there is a widening one between Flash and Jae as well.
No there isn't, if you watch the games i don't know how you can actually think that. If Flash himself believes he has to blind 14CC in the final set to gain an advantage then it shows that he also believes it's close, or he'd just 1rax CC.

... retarded analysis considering the fact that 2-3 is the closest you can get to winning a series without winning it. and Jaedong got Whooped? really?
Flash had an incredible preparation for MSL Finals and he totally deserved his win, imba maps or not, but did he WHOOP Jaedong by winning 3-2? (which is 3-2...not 300-200 or anything stupid you try to make it look like)

It's so condescending and so wrong ^.^
Below I wrote some stuff on the final, its not very new or fresh but I felt like I need to include it for the sake of post quality (and I felt like it) + Show Spoiler [Finals stuff] +Whooped is obviously unfair, FlaSh's builds were brilliantly abusive in a map pool where Jaedong was trying to eek out every possible advantage but it was probably the worst series I've seen FlaSh play in sometime. FlaSh really should have won game three, credit to JD for playing the hand he was dealt (beautifully I should mention) but I was shocked to see FlaSh lose from such an advantageous position. He looked unprepared for late game play and then game four was the FlaSh equivalent of the game JD forgot consume. FlaSh simply didn't look good when he had to play out of book
Sloppy stuff, sweet builds which worked beautifully but the amount of credit you give FlaSh really depends on your own personal bias. "Read JD like a book" and "Understood the mentality JD had to play with in a bad map pool and got a bit lucky (scout before 14cc or not, if JD had 9p'd on polaris in either of those games FlaSh would have been in a bad position and lost respectively)

Maybe I pick up a warning for this post with no content whatsoever, but you uninformed and lazy guys are annoying as hell. Just read the last 3 pages for christ's sake, or just don't post at all.

I think we can all agree that Bisu would beat Jaedong and Flash. Not just in Brood War but also in a cross dressing competition.

Plexa is waiting for the end of the OSL to make a Liquibet, right? I just wanted to make sure, since I was eagerly awaiting a power rank before the OSL until I realized that waiting until the end of the OSL is a better choice.

I think he's waiting until after this month.

I'd like to see the clutch arguments for keeping JD on #1 now

Most dominant season of all time. Flash is way above JD at the moment.

Being Terran must be nice. You get to be like, Bonjwa and stuff.

its because terran is imbalanced and jaedong lost because flash plays terran not because flash is better than jaedong right?

This season went above avergae for Flash. Winning Proleague, OSL, MSL, Winner's League and qing in WCG Korea.

Without a doubt Flash #1 this PR. But seriously, I'm getting sick of Flash dual finals. Hopefully someone figures out how to stop the 4th title by next OSL. + Show Spoiler +

No one is going to do that. You are delusional if you think that JD fanboys are that bad (they might bitch about imba though).
Flash is bonjwa (though the term seems so obsolete), he just beat the only guy close to him in 3 straight finals, took 4 medals in one year, didn't miss one final in a year and took the first dual gold since NaDa. Tripple if you count proleague.
Really didn't want this to happen, it's no fun when one guy is much better than everyone else (unless he happens to be your favorite player...)
Flash>Jaedong>>Everyone else.
