I'm torn between wanting to open up PR thread and read just simply "Bonjwa" but at the same time I'll miss the paragraphs of how awesome Flash is. =/

Losing three finals in a row to Flash like this might just break him. ![]() Well to be fair, Jaedong did win Nate MSL under pretty bad maps (original odd-eye, ultimatum ...) even with the power outage I don't like taking things away from the winner (unless you're Effort; I really hate Effort). His win against Movie was also pretty much a gimme. The last two seasons of Flash though have been the most impressive in the history of BW. Winning against the greatest zerg ever three straight times and going up 2-0 on Effort. It's unbelievable.

Yes, in the end it comes down to a bunch of razor-thin things. But, to even be in the conversation you need to put yourself in the POSITION for that to even be possible. Virtually every great sports dynasty had a ton of close calls. A lot of games decided by one point or one play or one lucky bounce. It's why they say "you make your own luck" - you gotta be in position to take advantage of it when it happens. No matter how lucky you are you can't be bonjwa if you don't just win a lot of games first.

I don't believe he's trying to demean Flash's accomplishment.

I am sure there will be another year of Brood War to come and although I cannot believe this kind of domination will continue, who am I to doubt this force of nature. As a die hard Jaedong fan of course I feel sad, but really, Jaedong doesn't need us to feel sorry for him. He is a living legend, has five titles and is the best zerg ever. It's just that sometimes someone comes along and is just better than you. And who says this rivalry is over, next year everything could be different again. PS: If anyone thought these finals were disappointing because of all the cheese, I don't know what to tell you. You people probably are very hard to please. I was sweating excitement.

Jaedong looked very calm and composed after the match. Personally I think what was inside him at that time was REVENGE, a burning determination to crush Flash in the next season/year. JD is not the type who drops out or gives up easily, he's gonna come back! He will try his best to get what he deserves. So yeah I think the rivalry definitely does not die. It lives and we will get to see what Jaedong's fury will bring. Go Jaedong and Flash.

One of the key reasons why Flash got dropped this month is because he's been solved. ...it appeared as though other Terrans knew how to beat Flash. Sadly, Flash's TvZ let him down. But I'm aware making a PR is a hard job, you've gotta do a lot of calls which could turn out totally false, so don't take those quotes as a criticism. Plexa also made some very good calls: I expect Flash to make the finals of both leagues, again. Similarly, I expect Jaedong to make the finals of both leagues as well.. and And hopefully, by the end of September, we'll be able to definitively answer the question - who is the greater player? Well, it took couple days more, but hell yes we are, and without a shadow of a doubt!
