As far as I know almost everyone agrees that #1 August and #1 July should just have been the other way around. July #1 Jaedong, August #1 Flash

This never happened to Flash. For an actual example of what a slump looks like, look at Calm's record between may 20th and Jully. Thank you.

2010: Flash wins when it counts, but loses too many games to scrubs. Flash anti-fans will never be happy.

Almost 50/50 win rate for 3 weeks, and losing 7 ace matches in a row. 2010: Flash wins when it counts (PL championship), but loses too many games to scrubs (ace maces that have no relevance to the PL championship). I feel like a lot of the anti-Flash argumentation on TL grasps at straws, like saying that Usain Bolt sucks if he slows down in the last 20 meters because he is already 10 meters ahead of his next competitor and he has already won half the races in the season while establishing world record (ELO peak) after world record. Please, it's getting really tiring to listen to all this whine. Get more positive, root for Jaedong, the other great player, but please stop trying to put Flash down because he is not the perfect invincible Starcraft machine. He's not, he's human like all of us. He is just the strongest Starcraft player at the moment, and arguably the strongest of all time.

Flash anti-fans will never be happy. He lost 7 ace matches in a row, and if it wasn't for STX's sudden slump KT would have lost 1st place, and with it a free trip to the finals. That's not winning when it counts. During those weeks he slumped, live with it. The best player in the world going 50/50 for over a month and letting his team down that many means he wasn't playing as well as he should have been, which is what a slump is. I'm not an anti flash fan, I don't really care, but it seems a lot of flash fans are also pretty delusional.

But that's only concerning a small slump he had where he did, unquestionably, lose more games than he should have. When looking over his general performance this year I challenge you to find a single anti fan delusional enough to say that Flash loses too many games against weak opponents. I would think that it is one of the more commonly agreed upon things that Flash is probably the player in the world least likely to lose against a low-mid level opponent.

You are calling people delusional because of a disagreement over semantics.

I dunno how you define close, but at one point there was a 2 game differential with 8-9 games left to be played (this was after Flash's 2nd Ace game loss), and STX had gone 9-2 the previous round while KT ended up going 5-6 in R5.

Instead of dismissing those games as meaningless (and as Cpadolf pointed out, it could easily have been different) you should focus on how the 2010 Flash came back and crushed everything in his path again. The 2009 Flash would probably have been depressed and dropped out of at least one league in the process. This losing streak maybe shows more about the player Flash has become than his ridiculous winning streaks. When you are "on" and you are blessed with Flashs natural talent, winning becomes rather easy the more you win and the better you feel about yourself. From Flashs interviews during the last 2 years you should know that Flash could never take it lightly to let his team down a couple times in a row, no matter how comfortable the circumstances were. I actually cannot believe we are arguing those games again and I'm taking part in it -.-

What I'm really sad about though is how Bisu is performing as of late. I mean, I thought he was actually going to make a comeback and then he just goes back to his normal self, albeit slightly higher.
