If Jaedong wins the map pool obviously isn't as one-sided as people think.

And Katrina wasn't bad for TvP because Flash managed to win on it, and the Shinhan 3 map pool was fine for Zergs since Savior won that OSL. Right?

If Jaedong wins the map pool obviously isn't as one-sided as people think. While I don't think the map pool is nearly as bad as people think (certainly not compared to the Shinhan 3 OSL maps where the most balanced map in the pool was Hitch Hiker), at the same time it should be noted that Jaedong winning would not prove that the map pool isn't one-sided. Consider that Jaedong in his matches against Light in MSL and Flash in WCG, Jaedong was not able to win when the games extended into late game play. Obviously a large part of that has to be attributed to the super high level skills of Light and Flash, but realistically speaking, Jaedong would not have beaten Light if he hadn't gimmicked his way to victory on Polaris. But actually, I voted for JD to win MSL in Liquibet. Even though I think Flash's TvZ is stronger than Jaedong's ZvT and even though the maps favor Terran, I think Jaedong has 55% chance of winning this one. JD has been playing pretty much nothing but ZvT lately. He's been practicing it extensively, whereas Flash is practicing TvT. And at this level of play, that difference in experience matters. Against hard opponents, Flash has been relying heavily on his late game turtle style recently, whereas Jaedong has been studying midgame timings extensively. Jaedong will practice hard to find any possible way to deal game-winning damage during the early/midgame. If Flash anticipates this and blocks these moves, it will be a repeat of last MSL. Otherwise, JD will actually come into the MSL finals with the advantage, despite the maps.

I agree with the majority what you said, however, in response to the bold, this really is a double edged sword. Flash has sooooo much footage of JD's ZvT whereas JD has very little of Flash's. I would not be surprised if Flash has totally changed his openings from the last MSL. Because of the lack of insight i would give a 55% for Flash not JD. But this really is a matter of opinion. Personally I believe having your play style unknown to be an advantage over continuously playing a single matchup. And we all know Flash is going to have top notch ZvT just by looking at his practice partners. (Effort and ZerO who are the aggressive zerg and macro zerg respectively). All that said, I really want this to be a close series. That's really all I want. I want it to go to game 5 with everyone unable to predict the winner ![]()

Who will it be? Also, LeeSsang looks a bit less invincible this time around, probably because good players actually started doing well.

The terran builds nothing until like 12 supply, so you could probably pull off 9ps. Pretty much, just like what just happened.
