Completion of a 15 game win streak and MSL title over Jaedong after this is said. Hurts to be the one who put that statement on the internet right now. ;D

But when Flash peaked JD was always right behind him.

ELO peak, dual finals (probably), no human can beat him. Flash only happens to be even better right now.

You are asking for trouble with these statements, people will get pissed ![]() And playing devil's advocate here, who says Flash has already peaked^^

anyway. Whole game, every match up (matchup?), many players have been solved many times, and sometimes it just stays that way for some time, and with flash it was not the case, hm.

Nah, JD's peak was last year shortly before the PL finals. JD is just so consistent that he didnt fall down like all the other major players. (same can be said about the current Flash)

He failed to win MSL and SPL, and won OSL, at his "peak." Flash has won MSL and SPL. If he just MAKES it to the OSL Finals he has far surpassed Jaedong's peak.

Flash this season MSL 3 finals OSL 3 finals (yeah he has to play free but look at their MSL series..) PL gold WL gold PL most wins vs MSL 3 finals OSL 1 final (assuming he beats Stork which is not as 100% as Flash v Free, but still likely) ...up until this one he hasn't even reached the Ro4 of the OSL PL second most wins (I am trying to say JD is not really that close to Flash right now accomplishment wise) ----------------------------------- Flash has definitely had a much better solid season of Starcraft than JD (who is #2 obviously) And if we're just talking about peak "skill" (as opposed to "peak accomplishments") at JD's peak Flash still was playing on JD's skill level even if he was dropping out of leagues and catching the losing end of their games. For instance, JD/Flash on RH3 (very close great game), Flash v JD on Neo Harmony (knocking JD out of the MSL with great 2 hatch muta defense + clutch timing on the 3rd) and Flash/JD @ Sin CR... those games were all played around JD's "prime" and Flash played on JD's level. He was worse, but to say Flash was "nowhere near" JD is misgiving.

Frist of all i didn't get the impression that one of the player was a lot better then the other it was mostly mind games , carefully planed build orders and a bit of luck ( except maybe the fighting spirit game i didn't have the time to watch that one i came in time to watch the final game) . The series was a lot closer then it looked . Flash just played riskier then Jaedong and it paid of .

SPL finals format was different then and KTF as a team is better then Hwaseung not counting Flash and Jaedong . They even bought ForGG from Lecaf . Though Flash's run is more impressive then Jaedong's .
