are you kidding me? this poll has only been up for like a day and it has a sick amount of responses. tl has grown like a monster since i joined in '08 (and lurked in '07).

keep the horses, obviously. because, as echoed elsewhere, it would make my shirt make absolutely no sense. and because i still don't get why there are horses at the top, and if you take them away i won't have any evidence to analyze

I don't care that much since I'm used to it now, but I remember being initially confused by it when I first came to this website. Something more scifi-ish should be used IMO. Also when I'm thinking about Starcraft, rarely do the colors of white and light blue enter my mind.

Don't take away the ponies! I never got why ponies were on the banner but it's what makes TL unique. Plus the blue is soothing after post-game nerdrage.

Whatever you do , keep the page as clean as it is , only one banner at the top is great and the forum feels so nice to navigate without avatars and crazy 800x600 sigs.

if this page becomes a banner-whore like most of the community sites i went into before meeting TL i will eat horse for dinner everyday until I die.

I like the heritage behind it, really I do but I wouldn't mind a new update to a site I visit probably 30+ times A DAY. It would be sick if a new color scheme and sick SC2/SC:Bw graphics were implemented.

I do agree though that if banners and signatures are everywhere I'll be PISSED. I absolutely HATE those new stupid rank banners for SC2 BETA and I hope I never have to see that Counter-Strike/WoW/other crap here.

Honestly, the horses confused me the first time I visited. The picture doesn't necessarily hurt anything, but its pretty random and doesn't really contribute much. I think something more StarCraft related would be better, but if people like it its not a big deal.

i'm totally fine with it, I don't think decent people judge a site with its banner, the banner gives a warm welcoming feel to the community, not a solid hardcore pro-only gaming feel

Everyone saying, "I'll leave TL if you change it" are probably the same people saying they will boycott SC2 and buy it anyway. If you change it, no one is leaving.

I think you can stick with the horses because that is the branding of the site, but a refresher on them wouldn't be bad at all. Or just give people the option to change it.
