ret's extractor survivor happened because he played poorly. the game was over at that point anyways. gositerran's proxy defense was a level you rarely see at any level of play. absolutely astounding. and im not just saying that because he is my illegitimate child.

I think people don't understand how difficult it is to hold off such a proxy from JF. Gosi[Terran] really had perfect micro and decision making there.

I wonder am I missing the point or half the voters!? Doesn't best "play" refer to best move(s)? Ret's game was awesome but what kind of move is it to luckily survive with one building?
I'd go with Mondi's hidden expo or infested cc. Both was entertaining!

Depends how you view best. Some people view it as most skillful, some view it as most entertaining, some want to see perfect execution of a non-standard build, some want to see a macrobot, etc. "Best" is vague and therefore people interpret it differently.

Ret did not play good in that game, he just got superlucky that Castro did not spend his money on a spore.

gosiTerrans play was just outstanding. Not only was it highskilled as hell, the game was super exciting seeing as it was really close.

So gosiTerran for me. Then I think Monids use of defilers in all his games was just sick to see.
