The extractor game hooked me and I was riveted for the rest of the broadcast.

Ret's survival with an extractor... ridiculous... it was game one of the series and in my opinion set a tone for the whole series that even if castro played extremely well and maybe even better than Ret, the Netherland beast could still win... he had 47 minerals, 135 gas, 10 supply, and one building... and won... are you kidding me?
What you need to do is be thankful for the life you got, you know what im sayin? ... stop lookin at what you ain't got ... start bein thankful for what you do got.

The extractor survival was certainly stunning, but I feel like Ra breaking the contain was more exciting- it showed some really brilliant army micro and had the added tension of happening in game 5 instead of the very start of the set.

overall JF impressed me the most so i voted for him
the extractor survival was pretty cool but zvzs sometimes (rather rarely but still) end like that, definitely not as if i haven't seen a game like that
also i have to admit terran's play on outsider was just marvellous.. but still jf's overall skill was too high to not vote for him
sen's and whitera's stuff was pretty good but i feel like it was mostly because of opponent's mistakes
and mondi didn't impress me nearly as much as the other things did

Terran's defence on Outsider. I would've called a JF win 10/10 if I had seen the first couple of minutes of that game.

I really liked mondi's hidden expo behind bratok's nat on destination. He got loads of value through mining and lurk harass before it was destroyed, and the really special thing about it is that it's probably a one-time gem; I really doubt anyone is going to be able to get away with it for a loooong time.

The extractor survivor was really sick and I thought ret would lose at multiple points during that game as far as I remember BUT nothing can really beat infested ccs and queens <3

i think when u win with only 1 useless building, it's been a game worth watching
ret ftw

a creative build is less exciting than constant action with an unbelievable comeback. plus the poise to send out the first vulture to end the game instead of clean up his base? that's poise.

GosI[Terran] deflected dirty Protoss cheese 3 games in a row and managed to win one and survive to late game in the other two. That took some serious skill under pressure. Sick play all around in the Ro16 though.
Of course, you only live one life, and you make all your mistakes, and learn what not to do, and that’s the end of you.

If he targetted the depots instead of the fac/refinery it would have been GG. Terran would be supply capped so wouldn't be able to build a vulture.

Definitely Ret's extractor. I had it set in my mind that Castro won the game, that I got confused for a second watching game 2 when the score said 1 - 0 for Ret. I had an "Oh yeah, that's right!" moment.

I voted for ret's extractor, that game was the most exiting ZvZ I have ever seen. White-Ra's game 5 breakout came as a close second. I love White-Ra, and I was literally shaking with excitement as the game begun, and more so when Ra got contained. When he was breaking out I was pretty much shouting with my hands raised. Good times.
