While some of these were definitely more exciting, Fenix' dismantling of Kolll is the best 'play'.

ret's lone extractor was the most exciting imo, but as far as skill goes GosI[Terran]'s proxy defence was stunning and exciting at the same time - it got my vote.

Although I absolutely hate zvz, the ret vs castro series was pretty entertaining and the extractor survival game was really intense. My vote goes to ret.

How is GosI's defense at # 3?

JF came up with a solid strategy that was almost a sure win in any circumstance and GosI hang on.

Ret's extractor was cute, but he had air control. CastrO didn't.

EDIT: Fenix should get the underdog award for beating Kolll.

Gosi's defense without question. That was unreal.

ret's extractor survivor happened because he played poorly.

That is actually quite true, he shouldnt even have gotten to such a bad situation.

It was definitely the most exciting situation, but it sure as hell wasn't the best play.

I think all the casters predicted that Gosi was going to lose Game 3 and that JF was going to walk away with a 3-0, so I'll go with that one Besides which, JF's mind games in that game were perfect up to the point he decided not to kill the depots - he even mind gamed Gosi into building an extractor. For Gosi to survive the initial rush and to force JF into making that mistake, that was already impressive. Yes, JF made a blunder later on - but how many players in Gosi's position would've just GG'd when they saw the zealots, especially given that he was already down 0-2?

I realize that Gosi was a bit overhyped before the match, but the kid's got real potential.

No doubt GosITerran's defense. The Ret extractor game was very cool, but it wasn't a "genius" play by Ret, he had air control and was pretty smart with how he used the mutalisks but I didn't see any skill that was beyond amazing. Air units > ground units that can't attack air, sure he had to avoid a few scourge and such, but that isn't super amazing.

GosITerran, on the other hand, well that was just unreal. Gets a perfect surround on the first zealot, then prevents two zealots at once from attacking his SCV building the bunker while they come from different sides, completes the factory being attacked by 3+ zealots, sends the first vulture to the main despite zealots still in his base. So many great decisions and some absolutely brilliant, brilliant micro.

I can't believe more people didn't vote for White-Ra's bridge breakout.

But I suppose that's justified considering the fact that apparently no one on TL likes PvP games except me <_<

Like many others have said...

The Ret game was cute... but chances are most people who did not vote for the gosl[terran] game did not even see it. It was a game where he beat many odds and defended something that very few players could do.

I love Ret but surviving with only an extractor was more luck than judgment.
"best moment" probably but not "best play"

anyone who doesnt vote for Terran's defense obviously didnt watch that game.

This is true. Either that or they clicked without thinking.

I can't believe he pulled that off it was simply incredible. So many Zealots streaming into the base when he has practically nothing.
