How to Participate:

Install Ventrilo, log into the Official TeamLiquid Ventrilo Channel and join the "Guest Questions" channel. Chill will ping you if you are up next for a question, and you will then be moved into the channel where you can talk with Staff.
- Forum with no microphone:
Post your question in the thread and we'll hopefully get to it.
What is this? How will it work?
We're going to be hosting the first TeamLiquid Chat session this Saturday. TeamLiquid staff will be answering user questions about anything -- TL, Blizzcon, Progaming, etc. You can just log into Ventrilo, join the TeamLiquid Chat Guest channel, and we'll move you into our channel to talk to us. If you don't have a mic, you can ask your question in the thread we create in General. The show will last approximately 90 minutes, and will be available for download after.
Current List of Staff Attending: Carnac, Chill, FakeSteve, Hot_Bid, Kennigit, Plexa
Why do this?
I think we will produce some very nice threads with a lot of fun, interesting information and discussion. You get to meet a few of the staff members who aren't as active on the forums, and these chats are very easily run and recorded (much easier than a podcast) so if its popular enough we'll make it a regular feature. ESPN regularly has chats like this with their columnists (example), and we decided we could have one not only about progaming but anything else as well.
What are some sample questions?
It can be anything. Who is the worst player among the TL Staff? What do you guys plan to do for OSL Finals at Blizzcon? Did you think Transformers 2 was a good movie? How do you feel about Jaedong-Fantasy Game 4? Who is the closest to bonjwa right now? What is Kennigit's favorite color? Why does Manifesto have such a deep voice? Why was XXX banned? When is TSL2? What progaming team does Sonuvbob like? If you had to choose three staff members to live with on a deserted island, who would they be? Etc.

If nobody shows up to chat we'll probably kill ourselves. And by that I mean we'll post for two hours amongst ourselves about Blizzcon and OSL Finals. Everyone should participate in this, especially if you are coming to Blizzcon. It should be a good time, see you there!
Will you guys answer all questions?
It's hard to predict the amount of interest this will generate, so we may be able to chat with everyone on Vent or answer most of the thread questions, but if there's too much interest we might not be able to get to everyone. Also, we obviously reserve the right to not answer stupid / inappropriate questions.

We get to ask you technical questions also? Like if you have any plans for an AJAX implementation of the forum (i.e. posts update somewhat similar to Facebook, with the sidebar changing topic ordering and flashing when new posts are made and stuff without having to reload the page).
Also what licences its all under and stuff, so if we 'could' donate code (like an html5 website we whip up and give to you to play round with), what the licence it would be and if we'd need to surrender rights or joint or w/e.

Nobody is forcing you to tune in, you don't have to watch. We know theres a good chance of this being uninteresting for a lot of people.
Think about it this way, if random unknown person can get 50 replies in a "ask me anything" blog, a panel of TL staff can probably entertain users for ~1 hour. Just look at the responses in this thread.

Can you give me an example? It's hard to say whether we'll take a specific question or not without actually seeing it. I can guarantee we'll be open and loose with the types of questions we take.

Can't come up with any specific atm, but most likely about your role in todays SC community, SC2's, the sites design, foreign vs korean sc, responsibilities, expanding, quality of certain forum categories etc
Some of these topic might be beating a dead hourse, i dunno =p

Let me break it down real easy: STORK SUCKS. Stork has sucked for AGES, but apparently only I had noticed. Stork's games the last few months have basically been nothing but a shitstorm of terrible games against Terran. Every game he either gets completely worked, or he does some retarded proxy robo carrier rush extreme dt bullshit that doesn't even work half the time, whether the terran scouts it or not. YOU SUCK STORK. I can't wait for him to get rolled in
OSL (but not in MSL because he didn't qualify!) so I can actually drop him for real.
My question is: Why did you bash Stork so much? This isn't the only case. He is a top player after all, it's not like bashing some relatively bad pro gamer like HiyA. He didn't perform well, but he doesn't deserve this.
Alternative question:
Why did NonY leave Korea? Real reasons not rumours.
If I'm able to make it, I may come to ventrilo and ask my questions. Otherwise, this is back-up.

TL is always known to take any good opportunity and make a great success into it (ie FS going to singapore, TSL Sponsor and etc). You guys have always done the best on getting the absolute best for the website.
But were there any 'missed opportunities' for tl? Maybe like you guys didn't sign some contract with a sponsor which you regret?

Which SC1 progamer is most likely to successfully convert into SC2 progaming? Do you think that SC2 'newcomers' will overcome SC1 progamers who converted to SC2 gaming?

Should  Jaedong move to another team or continue trying to win Proleague with OZ? If he should stay, then which player possibly transferred to OZ would help him the most to win Proleague next time?
