It's always astounding to see how no one is capable of neutrality when it comes to Savior. Either you love him, or you hate him. And even if it doesn't come to those extremes, people are either biased towards or against him. I make no exception. Of course I love Savior.
But let's be fair here. His win against Zero in the round of 32 was a convincing one. Zero actually defended the 9pool quite well, so things were evened out again. But after that, he just got outplayed. Furthermore Savior is also 7-3 in his last 10 ZvZs, looking good in every single one of them. He took down Yellow[arnc], absolutely destroyed hyvaa who has been looking strong in ZvZ himself lately, and of course beat Zero himself in the round of 32. As you can see, I'm not even taking into account Savior's experience in big tournaments and his strategical mastery.
You have to give credit where it's due, and it's just not fair to call Savior overrated. Especially not in ZvZ. Of course Zero hast a shot. But if you throw all the bias towards or against Savior overboard, you have to give him the edge here.

I think Kwark you're a little too harsh on Jangbi here. This was an teammate battle, and you could tell from Jangbi's expression and post-game interview that he disliked having to face his teammate. So he probably didn't want to do anything ridiculous. Basically he played ultra-safe and just won on skill.

I'm guessing you missed the game where he rolled into by.great's base with like 10 more lings, a few more mutas, more larvae pumping from his own base... and promptly got pushed back. Literally epic fail material right there.
When it comes to control, Zero > Savior. So I'd currently give Zero the edge too in this matchup. Of course, Zero is unpredictable and can implode. But skills wise, he is better at ZvZ. Because unfortunately, Savior's superior game sense and macro is minimized in this matchup.

You're right that he probably had reasons for playing like that. Doesn't change the fact that his performance was really very plain. I don't know why it bored me so much, maybe because FrOzean is really boring too so when JangBi doesn't take any chances and just plays safe it becomes depressingly standard. JangBi did everything I'd ask of a player, made no mistakes but equally showed no real spark. I'm rating their play and I'm not sure he'd beat a stronger opponent playing like that.

I am neutral, dont care for Savior, so no love or hate here, let the best man win.

That's not true, you just don't hear neutral people talking about savior. We don't have anything to say.

Great post, Love the conspiracy theory ;D

OP:
Those are Luxury's ZvZ statistics, not Luxury's ZvT.
If you just fix that its an excellent write-up.

Good catch - my fault. Mani will edit in the fix once he has a minute.

KTF needs better players. After Luxury and Flash KTF has noone.
At the very least KTF should assign their nonactive (Not in MSL/OSL) players to sniper roles where the player practices specific maps/matchups. That way, KTF at least stands some chance of taking the odd game off of an opposing team without Luxury or Flash.
In terms of the MSL Ro16, I'm looking forward to the games, especially Nada v. JangBi (I know this matchup has the potential to be one-sided but I still believe in Nada~)

It's pretty bad that Flash got knocked out of both leagues. He's such a beast in proleague.

Implode as suck really hard since he has no experience and fluctuates like a madman in terms of skill.

The thing that gives me hope is that he hasn't lost to anyone terrible lately, like he used to do. (Well, maybe you can say oov is terrible at this point in time, but he did some clever things in that game that threw Zero off.)

Mainly I meant that he's a new guy who's never been on the big scene. So he could easily get flustered if things don't start off well. But of course that doesn't always happen. A certain up-and-coming terran met Savior a while back in the MSL Ro8. Things worked out pretty well for that guy.
