Season 2 Episode 4 - Mondragon - Sunday, September 21st @ 11am PST / 2pm EST / 8pm CET / Monday, September 22nd @ 3am KST
Episode 4 – Mondragon After much pleading, begging and bribing (with beer), arguably the #1 foreign Zerg for many years has been locked down into doing TL Attack. We've instructed Mondragon to turn up the BM, to which he replied that it wouldn't be a problem, so expect some candid comments!
Playing against a champion like Mondragon isn't going to be fair for anyone, so we'll be doing our best to keep him busy with questions and challenging him to win with handicaps.
Team Melee A lot of people loved the team melee games of past episodes, but with RaGe now on staff, and intrigue's soulless shell of a body playing Ragnarok Online, we need to fill the void. Get a team melee team of 2-4 people, starting training, and submit your application in this thread. One or more teams will get the chance to play Mondragon live during the event.
Soft-spoken JF beasted as expected. He tore down the competition, won DoctorHelvetica an official CJ Entus shirt, use more scouts in three hours than most people have used in their lives, and delayed a Zerg building a Spawning Pool for well into the four minute mark. Overall, a great episode.
Prizes The player with the "best play" (As voted on by the commentators and Mondragon) will receive a MASTER mousepad courtesy of http://www.esportnova.com
The best play could be an interesting build or tactic, a cute move, or any number of things. Suffice it to say we'll know it when we see it, as shown by the winners of past episodes: -4 Hatch Zergling break -DWeb rush -Leaving a game -Playing a great game vs Xiaozi -Playing a great game vs Dreiven -Drawing the Cookie Monster in Zerglings -Holding your own vs Sea and eventually countering Nukes with a Dark Archon -Playing a solid TvP vs JianFei
Last week's winner was Aerials[Light]. Congratulations!
How To Watch A news post will be made prior to the stream going live which will include details on how to watch live in VLC or WMP. VODs and Replays will be released after the event is complete. If you are familiar with watching the TSL, watching TLA will be just as simple.
How To Play Once you tune in live, we will be announcing what channel we will be in. We will be on US West so all you have to do is have the stream running in the background and hop onto West. Once we announce what channel we are in, it's your job to get in there before it fills up, and then to you to convince Mondragon that you should be the one playing him!
Chaos Launcher If you want to participate, you should have Chaos Launcher enabled. Install it, tick the box next to "Latency Changer" and then launch StarCraft from within Chaos Launcher.
ICC Launcher is NOT Chaos Launcher ADVLoader is NOT Chaos Launcher Ensure you have Latency Changer enabled in Chaos Launcher!
what happened to getting MBC team members like Pusan and Light on TL.attack? didnt the MBC coach mention that he could fix that after the response from Seas one?

wasn't the dark archon guy a hacker? didn't the coach end up winning?
and which episode was the cookie monster?
edit: wait i just realized you might be sarcastic. i haven't watched enough episodes to determine whether or not you are.

I was waiting for the next TL attack and Mondragon is a fabulous reward for my patience. Really looking forward to this. Thanks Chill and everyone involved.

Pusan's busy right now.
That episode will be more badass than the Sea one, IMO.
I'll be looking forward Mondragon off-racing noobs.
This is going to be awesome. Dissy is a really fun and cool guy, he is the perfect choice for TL attack , since he can play really well while talking. I've seen it many times
That is to say, listed above is the team melee team that will be practising like crazy so as to be prepared to play vs Mondragon if we were so lucky as to be selected. Learn to kiss ass please HeavOn xD

Please explain to me what tl.net's big deal is wit kawaii.. I mean unless he sent you some anthrax or something what reason could you possibly have in the short time of his 15yr old life could you have for banning him from anything SC related.. I mean he IS talented, for which he gets no credit really..and yet you flame and ban him from all of your little events..so tell me DID he send you anthrax, or did he 2-0 you on some map that was imba?
OR iirc kawaii was veting with Lastshadow (or dino or some other person) in WCG USA qualifiers (as far I as know) so that's the reason why TL or at least admins hate kawaii.
Nice, very good pick up for the TL attack. Last episode was boring, not the games itself but JF wasn't really talkative. He seemed very quiet and didn't have much to say.
oh they have every right to, i just thought it would've been fun to play with him we had a fun strat and roles played out and everything i also kinda forgot tl hated him; he's a fun guy ^ ^
I don't mean to say I don't like these TL attacks, because they are great. But they are just too fucking long (4 hours etc). Try and cut all the bullshit and just get to the gaming as fast as possible (especially between games)? Like the Sea episode, it was late, and he seemed a bit impatient as well.

Other people I talked to agreed.
How? You make it sound like we sit around in a channel wasting time. We never do this.

Hmm... I for one like this "bullshit" time you're talking about. I haven't talked to other people about it but for me, TL.Attack! isn't supposed to be all up tight. I like the relaxed environments, the (sometimes bad =p) jokes, the channel spam and more. In fact, it'd be cool if the guests/gamers weren't so up tight either, but I guess they have to be intense considering the level they're playing the game at...
If I wanted to see game after game after game, I'd just log on to Youtube and watch the latset from nevake or jon747... which I do. TL.Attack! is different from that.
can't wait for mondragon tl attack. make him play zerg matches not too much off race(even thought his off races are pretty good). we haven't had a zerg on tl attack for awhile.... for the zerg users. For the Overmind!
4 Hours of TLAttack too much ??????? Are you serious ? Come on... I could stay tuned even 24 hours at a time ! TL staff is doing a great job (except for this banner )!
His offraces can probly get to B/B+ of the current iccup (with all the koreans and all, but who knows he might be able to get higher) so i dont expect him to lose a game

His Protoss is almost as good as his zerg, he would still be in World top 10 as a Toss Player. His terran is also really good, but probably only top 10 germany.
If you are using LatencyChanger make sure you use version 0.2. There is a 0.1 for 1.15.3 but it is buggy. Also some admin/mod should put an announcement+countdown in the green bar above the forum.
