ToD was in korea and couldn't participate that's too bad...(he's clearly superior to the 2 and 3rd )
Also no adelscott...That's a down seems like he was playing shitty that day because overall he's got better results than the rest and would have derserved a spot.

Well if the curse don't hurt stephano should take the title tho (that's if someone takes down nerchio/vortix since he is on the other side of the bracket :p )

A Grubby/MaNa/White-Ra vs Stephano final would the the best :D

as for the power rank, most of it seems fine but NightEnD is underrated imo.

Well the fact is, we don't really know if ToD is better than Dayshii and Eeel, since we don"t get to watch him play very often lately.
Also, I don't wanna be mean, but Adel is not the Adel of the early SC2 anymore. He's just a sub-pro on a good team. I think the results of the WCS France shows pretty well what is the state of SC2 in France now.

I think you're wrong about Adelscott. Thing is, he seems to be exactly the same as 2 years ago, and that's why he's a "sub-pro". When people were expanding their game and improving in various aspects of the game, he just stayed the same.

Grubby is way too low, when in the last months he was THE foreigner besides usual ones (stephano, nerchio etc) to take down koreans. and no, not just Oz.

granted he's risking it all with OSL but still, i think he can preform...

He is way way far away from Nerchio, Stephano, MaNa and some other players which are behind him in Power Rank. Grubby is not even close to take WCS Europe.

that's exactly the point. while those three, four (such as Thorzain) have better results than him, i really don't see how you can put Titan or Ret in front of Grubby when you look at their respective results as of late. also, patchzergs are getting way too much credit. but it's just an opinion of mine, you don't have to agree...

Sucks that Nerchio and Sortof face off in round 1.

Also, it looks like a very good bracket for Stephano, avoiding the top 5 zergs.

Great read. I'm just a bit sad that the #2 player Nerchio has to face the #4 player SortOf in the very first round.
I can no longer rest under the tree of wisdom, since you have axed down the roots feeding it.

It's amusing that this is the only powerrank I've seen so far with all the players showing up to argue about their placings! Great write-up though, makes me look forward to the weekend!

Pretty agree with that. ToD is theorically better but he don't play enought these days so its hard to tell and Adel is outmoded. But Dayshi can be a good surprise. He is getting better and better. On the other hand, Eel has no chance. Kleenex instead would have been better for France chances.

Thanks for this great article, really got me hyped up for this tournament. Never been looking forward the same way to a tournament in 2012!

Anyway, Sortof and Vortix are overrated =)

Why couldn't they match Nerchio with Naama in the first round ? :D Would be fun to see them play each other again. If the game isn't interesting (which I highly doubt everytime) the chat is interesting.

Woot, Porcelina = e-famous!

A warning to her fellow writers; She is heavily HerO biased

Good job Porcelina, enjoyed the read! Happy to see you co-write articles now!!

Another very impressive effort, thank you for the preview!

*Wouldn't be my ranking, but what does that really matter? A lot of thought and work have gone into this. Chapeau!

Don't understand why the Grubby line is at #11. Nerchio and Stephano are the only Europeans that can really compete with Koreans. Everyone else might beat a Korean on a very good day because of luck or whatever, but surely not because they are even close to their skill level.
