In all honesty now, i'll say that Liquid honestly has no claim to fame as the "foreign-based team" who reached furthest (or whatever), because it doesn't matter IMO who pays for the team, it matters where the players came from, and I see TL currently as a Korean team with some foreigners who are there mostly for their personality (Haypro, TLO) and not for any results. I mean, if microsoft or whoever, just buys all of the best Korean players, they will become the "best foreign based team", but it just seems to me as "the team with the most money to pay Korean players", so it basically doesn't mean a lot IMO. ontopic: Wishing liquid good luck! Honestly i hope liquid wins and is not totally dependent of taeja. To be honest, i expected a bit more from ret. I hope he will find his moment in the finals ![]() I am quite excited for this and will certainly watch!

Dawg, they don't even have enough Koreans to play all Koreans in any teamleague. Just because their best players are Korean does not mean the team is Korean.

They will do some promotional work at LG's booth at gamescom, but I hope they can find time to participate in open bracket for IEM as well. Can't read the article for myself to fully confirm but most likely true considering they are going to IEM. That said, Nestea's leadership role will also be significant to say the least - he's probably more of a leader to those guys than their coach will ever be. I've always wondered if Nestea should be coaching for team league instead of the coach xD. To the coach's credit he probably does a lot behind the scenes to have won that best coach award. Just can't call team league worth a crap. Although, even then, you have to wonder if he's thinking about the bigger picture and using these events to nourish the less established players with stage experience. I mean IM did develop into the strongest team out there by far in terms of overall accomplishments. They have excellent sponsors, and I don't believe they've lost players to other teams since the early days of their inception. They're even starting to finally get the diversity of other teams like Startale and Slayers now with people like DreamerTT, Horror, First, Yoda, and Yonghwa posting notable results. Not to mention they'll probably be the only team with a gsl champion of each race for a very long time.

But then, there's Taeja: an absolute monster at teamleagues. Can IM stop him? Liquid fighting!

Taeja's on a roll, but IM's got the experience and intelligence of the almighty NesTea on their side. I predict LG-IM 5-2 Liquid, but I hope I'm wrong at it comes down to a nail-biting ninth game. ![]()

I feel like we give Taeja too much pressure and just by reading the comments I'm afraid Taeja might falter from the pressure or something... With that being said I hope to see Taeja vs Nestea :3
