It was a full journalistic piece, something you would see in a magazine like Time or a longer exposition piece you might see on Grandland. It's not a one blurb flash-news article. Overall, it's an amazing piece. I really enjoyed it. I hadn't heard of Matt before, but I'll be following his progress from here on out.
Yea I fully agree, felt a lot more like a real journalistic piece than other TL articles.

An amazing story. Matt is an inspiration to us all. I really feel like somehow gaming is more magical, more special, when I read things like this.

Fellow Carl!! <3<3 I don't think I'm alone in thinking that this guy is THE definition of a sick nerd baller. Best of luck, dude!

Really interesting post, I really enjoy reading about Matthew. It's so refreshing to read a lot about a guy who really has got one driven passion in life, isn't dragged down by his disability - and most importantly of all hasn't become a man blaming the world or getting upset about it.
I really enjoyed the long interview with Mr. Bitter.
Hopefully the time in Arizona will bring even more cool stories to read about.
LookNoHands next on Real Talk, Mr. JP?

But that was the problem, they tried too hard to make it sound like a true journalistic piece like those magazines. I think they over did it... Sometimes less is more, but that's my opinion. I get bored if a writer uses too many words to describe something simple.

Amazing guy. This guy is so awesome it's impossible for me to even imagine having done the things he have done putting myself in his shoes. Great write-up as always :D

You are a hero man.

I like the article, but I wish there were a little more exposition and background about the whole thing, written clearly at the start. The article is great for us who know about Matt, but I think people unfamiliar with the whole situation might not appreciate the piece as much.

aww yeah he was front page of screddit during the DRG vs Genius finals! sick!

As a journalist, I would say it is as professionally written as it gets. I don't it was 'trying', I think it just is.
