im not so sure about the write up for DRG. Hero convincingly wiped the floor with DRG's face. Drg is beatable. I think Naniwa has a path to victory somewhere in there.

I dunno about you, but I don't think Parting or Squirtle have been around long enough to have that reputation. They're still pretty much rising stars, coming off the cusp of their first major breakout showings. The stage they're at now is "The difficult second album", in rock-band terms.

If Naniwa pulls off Hero's style instead of Naniwa's typical style (and he's more than capable of adapting, as he doesn't play his "normal" in GSL almost ever) that he uses at MLGs or Dreamhacks to take people out with simple solid play, he is more than capable of taking out DRG. DRG really has to be extra cautious. That said, being a huge DRG fan, I'm hoping DRG wins, but I think this is going to be more of a challenge than he's expecting.

Pretty sure DRG's cockiness is trying to get into Naniwa's head. Naniwa admitted last season he got very nervous when he had to play MVP(few wouldn't, to be fair) and I think DRG knows that and is trying to make Naniwa think he's already lost.

Unless DRG comes to the booth drunk he isn't losing, no offence to Naniwa but...DRG's the best player on the planet, and if anyone stops him from winning this seasons championship it'll be one incredible feat.

Lol, I don't understand why people got so upset by that probe-rush, the game didn't even matter so what's the point of playing it? Hopefully Naniwa have worked on his PvZ lately. He seemed to be an upward trend in that matchup a few months ago but have regressed again. I just hope he doesn't get rolled completely and give some entertaining games. I think 3-1 or 3-0 to DRG is pretty likely though. If DRG have an off day or something or just forget to make spores when the inevitable dts come it could be an upset.

As much as it pains me to say this, Naniwa is going to get rolled. Unless Naniwa's strategy involves hiring some goons to hit DRG on the back of the head en route to the GOM studio, DRG will smash him into the ground.

DRG will not get nerves and blow the series.

DRG will not magically and suddenly develop carpal tunnel.

DRG will not lose to several all-ins in a row and certainly will not lose the macro games.

DRG will show Naniwa why he, not MMA, not MVP, not Nestea and not MC, is the best player in the world, and he will do so quickly, decisively and painfully.
