I really think fans that use this as a reason to dislike him are really out of touch with reality. Am I dissapointed? Hell yes. However, he has a life that he needs to live, and money is a big part of life. He even said he would be willing to stay with Liquid for much less money than other teams offered because of how fond he was of Liquid, but the offer EG made was just too good.

I am taking this opportunity to be happy for Huk. Congrats on the big new contract, and I hope you do well in EG!

I will still be a fan of Liquid. I will still be a fan of Huk. Hopefully this dissapointment will lead into bigger better things for SC2 and ESports in general. Huk fighting!

as fans you may be disappointed... but it just mean that you're not the real true fan...

true fans respect decisions and if things don't go your way you continue to support the person that you're supporting..

GL in EG HuK... will still continue watching streams even when you're not a Liquid... and you're still awesome :D

Well, everybody is still "here" in the e-space, and friends will be friends, even if not as much practice partners. Liquid is still strong as a team, and they've shown the ability to produce good players, so they'll still be doing well. I'm mostly worried about Huk personally and whether being with EG would help him in his quest for improvement, but I wish him the best of luck, and certainly respect his decision.

I don't think there is anyone to blame in this exchange, EG had the money, HuK the skills. So it's a good pickup by EG and most likely a very good deal for HuK.

Still I feel it's hard for me to be "excited" over this because how it should help foreign gaming with the Puma, Idra and HuK powerhouse. Because personally I don't think Idra and Puma is gonna be a better training regimen than the oGs-TL house was. In fact one can only hope that it will be equal so that it doesn't hinder HuK's progress.
