Peace Personally i'm not mad at all, i fully understand his decision and probably would've done the same. I'm just sad on the other hand. I find myself more and more rooting for a team now then for individual players. Both Slayers and Liquid are the teams i cheer for all the time, i could never see myself cheering for an EG player (nothing against them). I just compare it to most other sports, some people cheer for Barcelona or Real Madrid or Manchester United.
I agree with this. The team image and the way they act affect my appreciation for the actual players more. EG has two of the most trashtalking gamers in SC2 and now they just buy up whatever good players they can get.

It's a good thing that Liquid's secret weapon, Haypro, has yet to reveal his abilities! It ends when EG runs out of money. Their business decisions seem all over the place though. If they actually wanted to be a strong contender, shouldn't they have hired a coaching team first and foremost? If they wanted to have money via exposure, fame, popularity, i.e. selling team shirts and other things, then they should have bought the popular players (but PuMa is still a relative unknown).

I actually love EG i dont know why but i do i feel bad liquid losing huk but they are still strong.

After 2 days of listening to cryptic messages, and HuK going to EG being the most popular speculation, it somehow doesn't seem that big news. Was this EG's masterplan? Or just usual EG overhyping?

Hey Nazgul,
You had so much efforts in supporting HuK and supported him becoming a real champion (he made the best of himself, but you prepared the environment). I appreciate your work very much. I was very excited as you got him signing Liquid. I could imagine that you have a deep disappointment, although you wrote words of peace. I wish you the best. You are a really impressive manager.

As a fan of Liquid, it sucks. As a fan of EG, it rocks. As a fan of HuK, it's awesome :D, glad to see his hard work paying off.
I'm glad to hear Idra is moving to Korea again as well. His play has been a bit off lately, maybe he can get back into his groove.

Someone claimed it was 180 000 but that news just says its 6figure so it can be anything between 100 000 and 999 999
is there any source for that 180 000 or is it just baseless bullshit talk?

LiquidRet Jos de Kroon Hmm, One might wonder..does Blizzcon even really matter as a tournament, without any EG there to give it legitimacy?
OH SNAP

Happy for Huk that he's gonna make alot of money, noone can blame him for that... The money he'll make will actually turn his gaming into a great career.
Sad for Liquid, and for myself! I really love TL, not just the site but the team, everytime there is a player from Liquid i automatically like him, more than any other team's player. Don't think i've ever wanted a non-TL to win against a TL player. Really hope TL can keep on going strong even after this setback!
It's just... Too bad Liquid didn't have the same economical power as EG. But EG definately got another insanely strong member...

gonna miss you , hope you will stream sometime bye bye save journey

business is business, totally understand ... good luck HuK!

nooooooooooooo
i like liquid more than EG
o well, it'll be interesting to see how idra and huk get along now...

I still like HuK but can't really say that i care too much about EG anymore... They are kinda turning into a moneymachine where they just sign players they see perform well (wining championships) instead of signing players with potential... TeamLiquid continues to be the most loved team out there, atleast in my opinion! ;D But i do REALLY hope that HuK will continue winning and show us that foreigners can beat koreans!

Lol, like you wouldn't make the same "mistake" when a contract of that amount gets given to you! I doubt it tbh, I mean I might go from Liquid to FXO or something, but EG... I doubt any number would be high enough. But I mean I ofcourse wish him the best of luck, HuK is awesome.
