January knows her players and their ability to play certain matchups on certain maps a lot better than we do, and she made her call based on that. It was the correct call. Stork is bad at PvZ these days and Jangbi already got slapped around by the woongjin zergs 3 times. On top of that, they were playing on a map that is T >>> Z >>> P ~ T. She was right not to go with either of those guys. Had great not been slumping so badly in recent months, he would have been the prime candidate to snipe Zero/SK, but alas she had to go with TurN (who could have won it if he hadn't botched that push). It is very likely that the coaches had him practice specifically for the ACE match due to the map. | ||
