Congratulations on obtaining major sponsorship, only it's a shame that it is Razer. To me, they have a bad reputation for making shoddy products with pretty boxes. Any Razer products I've owned, I returned due to lack of quality.
The Razer Mamba was the last product I bought. It was such a low-quality mouse for such a high price, it barely worked on my glass mousepad, the buttons were actually difficult at time to push, I mean like I couldn't seem to use the right mouse button consistently.
'But what a cool box ...' is pretty much all I could think, then I was swiftly packaging it back up and swapping it for the G700.

Love razer for sponsoring esports and all but they should look through their own shit, all my friends in technical/game design university programs say that empirically razer's equipment just breakes down and generally isn't top of the line. Love razer for sponsoring esports and all but they should look through their own shit, all my friends in technical/game design university programs say that empirically razer's equipment just breakes down and generally isn't top of the line. Which is a shame because theyre doing more for esports than most competitors.

Right when I saw the title on the home page I immediately knew what the opening lines would be even before clicking the link. If they were going to sponsor a team, it does, indeed, seem clear that the foreign one would be Liquid.
Edit: I use a Razer DeathAdder. I switched to it this past Christmas from my Logitech MX518. The DeathAdder is easily the best mouse I've ever used and I absolutely love it.

Hey just out of curiosity how many sc2 teams does razer sponsor now? seems like quite a few.
im not talking about individual players that they sponsor as well on teams, but actual full teams that they sponsor such as slayers.
Edit: using and loving my razer marauder, i always needed a backlit keyboard since i like to play in the dark, and having one that can glow ANY color (3 different colors or something ridiculous) is more than i could ever hope for. The way the keys feel when you press them and the spacing between the keys is perfect.Honestly i couldnt go back to using a normal keyboard again i tried playing at an internet cafe and i was like "what is this shit"

big Razer fan here, glad to see them sponsoring Liquid, when i was buying my Razer mouse it was a big influence knowing that Ret uses and likes it.
Now i would like them to say each of them which they like the most, i think that would be bigger advertising then putting their logo here or there

When I went out to replace my mouse a year ago, I made sure it was a Razer. After sponsoring the fantastic tournament that was TSL 1, and day[9]'s king of the beta... I could hardly buy anything else...

Congrats, I'd be interested to know (though obviously we never will, it's private info) what kind of money goes into a sponsorship like this. Liquid especially is good about pimping their sponsors whenever there is a microphone. I feel kinda like those mini-tournies that this type of sponsor presents. They may reach a relatively small set of eyeballs compared to other advertising methods (<50k) but damn will it be a specific subset of eyes and damn will their name be prominent.

Good news... though the only "good" mice (in terms of sensor quality) by Razer seem to be the DeathAdder and later-upgraded-Abyssus. I really hate the PTE sensor which is in a lot of their products >_>.

Use whatever feels comfortable... just keep Windows sensitivity at default (6/11) and SC2 sensitivity at 51-53% for perfect 1 to 1 input.
I'm actually surprised at the number of people saying they're going to buy a Razer product right now because of this. Razer isn't bad, but like all companies that produce mice (Logitech and SS for example) some of their products are below standard. Make sure you research first.
