Anyone who has followed his career and watched him grow knows darn well something is up. I really have no idea what it is, but that is not the jaedong builds/timings/anything I have memorized and mimicked for years. As I poor over his book of builds and timings and strategies, I find nothing in regards to all 3 games. It almost seemed like he was throwing the match..... | ||

I'm being honest, it may seem like I'm some fanboi that can't let it go, but I literally watched the first game and was like, "What the heck is he doing?!" Just watch it yourself, unless you aren't familiar with Jaedong's play style. Why didn't he just do his normal muta harass build? Flash went quick expo and Jaedong scouted it, that is an automatic win for Muta build. I'm still completely confused but I'll watch the matches again. | ||

It was a brilliant build and he seriously almost had it except he was riding on such a thin line that a single blunder just killed him. That build was totally something that Jaedong would do. A prepared build that is totally ballsy, totally unprecedented, and extremely powerful. He just fucked up and stumbled on the line. I don't think you understand that when Flash failed in breaking through before the first defiler came out Flash was FUCKED. He was in a fucked up position and if he failed to break Jaedong when he did then he would have lost the game. And Jaedong was extremly close to that point. Jaedong got too complacent after getting his first defiler out and Flash took what was perhaps his only chance to win and he succeeded.
