I want to pre-order here and support the community, but I'm not sure about Amazon.ca, Do Canadian Customers get a beta key sent out to them? How does that happen? Do I need to do anything special when ordering?

As far as I know, it has to be the link. We actually get referral dollars for any product you purchase through that link even if it's not SC2. We're obviously not going to ask our users to make all their Amazon purchases through us, but we're not going to stop you if you choose to do that

Additionally, for all those people wondering, if you already ordered, it's fine. We don't expect you to go back and cancel and re-order through us or something. Its just a dollar or two back to TL per order, and it's not like TL is going to crash if you don't go through some annoying cancel-reorder procedure.

Basically, don't feel bad if you didn't order through us. Of course, we appreciate anyone that does, but don't feel like there's some obligation or pressure, that's not our intent at all. We just figured, if you're going to buy the game anyway, it really doesn't negatively impact you and can marginally help us.

My only issue with preordering from TL.net's Amazon referral is the time taken for Amazon.co.uk to actually ship the copies; every time I've ordered a game from Amazon has taken > 1 week after release to be shipped, whereas when I order from game.co.uk, I normally get it the day before release.

They definitely ship to Germany, I use to order all my games from the UK since it's cheaper most of the time. Even with the shipping.

The downside to is that it could take one or two days longer to arrive and you may not have it on release. :E
