JeeJee: He is also acting completely out of character. He got in on the confusion about the mafia hitting each other last night, but otherwise he has been really quiet. Usually he is pretty involved in clue analysis. Another negative point is that Bockit drew attention away from him. Has he been linked to clues at all? | ||

Has he been linked to clues at all? here's the thing - - i have leads except i don't think they're good enough to post. for instance, i think everyone can see the recurring clumsiness theme of one of the mafia, but i'll be damned if i could match a single person who has ANYTHING at all related to clumsiness (with the notable exception of your sig, uff da) for what it's worth, i don't suspect chuiu at all for attempting to start a bandwagon against me but you have raised my eyebrow with this post qatol. now that i think about it -- looking at your profile there's nothing to make clues from except qatol and uffda. googling qatol gives us nothing, while googling uffda gives us the 'oops' -> clumsiness. it's fairly weak, but the thing is that it's made much stronger by 2 things: a) clumsy mafia is not bc's way of telling the story (look at previous mafias run by him), so it is likely to be a clue b) nobody else (that i could find, feel free to prove me wrong) has anything that could even remotely be connected with clumsiness | ||

I really can't see the dts centering around anyone but qatol at this point. If qatol *is* mafia and the town continues pming roles to him, they could all be dead very quickly. also, does anyone know how many dts there should be? It'd be bad if there were only 2 and they were both dead already. | ||

We should try to punish people who have a disconnect between the two, and thus force people to put their money where their mouth is regarding mafia. This would make it much harder for a very bad situation to occur: where the mafia accuse one another publicly while cooperating privately, which would confuse us to no end with the loss of 2 DTs. Also, if town gets multiple confirmed mafia, it is better to kill the inactive ones first and leave the active ones to hyperventilate and see if we can draw out even more fish on the line. | ||

1 We have no info about the number of vigis for the town. Even thinking in 4 vigis we must save our double lynchs to important cases and handle them with extreme care. At this point in the game our mayority uninformed still lacks the information. 2 Im positively sure the two groups of mafia are more worried about the other group than the town. If the town loses the double lynchs lynching inocents its not that important for either mafia but a huge deal for the town. 3 We dont have strong leads. Even in my case, where i think tricode is mafia because the clue analisis i made plus the activity he has shown its a weak one. 4 We dont know how will come the mafia hits next day and always remember that there are 2 groups coordinated against the town. We cant afford to waste the lynchs helping anyside, if something, its better and the best plan for the town to wait that the two mafias hit eachother. Im not saying obviously that we dont lynch mafia, but wasting double lynchs to help one of them is not optimal, if one of the mafia wants to damage the other lets force them to use theyr own hits, not the town double lynchs. 5 Im guessing this will be a large game. The fact that there are 4 interest groups in this game will prove that the town itself has to use the advantage of numbers. In a close end double lynchs are probably the only thing the town will have. (and maybe the extra votes from the mayor). 6 I think the single townies are going to be extremately valuable this game, even the less active ones. The point is that all that is written in the thread will be source of analisis in a few days, but we cant make that much analisis with what we have so far so using double lynchs for next night is like pushing instead of waiting for more info. Please, please: if you really are town sided DONT vote double lynch, if you think like a townie and read my post you will see that saving double lynchs is quite the best choice: we dont have targets, lets wait to have more information. Its not important if you trust me or not or if you agree or dont agree with my clue-analisis, save double lynchs. Thank you. | ||

You were hit last night. He could add this as well: you have lost 1 of your 2 lives. Either way, we need everyone to pickup their activity. We know April can be a busy time, but the least you can do is post to let us know you are alive. EDIT: Update! With that said, I think everyone can agree when I say we have 3 strong leads that many of us can agree on. Based on conversations with others and posts in this thread: - Versatile - Monoxide - JeeJee I would side with our Mayor on this one based on what he's heard. | ||

From Night 1 we can be certain of the following: 1. There are two families. 2. There are 4-5 regular mafia per family. 3. There are two GFs. It all makes sense. Now we know why the CK role has been put in there. He doesn't have an easy job. Anyway, we can sit tight and pray the mafia hit one another. I still think we have more than enough to go on right now. Plus, we still have the Night 2 clues to go over. New clues will help; but, then again they'll be about different members of each family. -_- EDIT: Because I don't want to double post. Another thing to consider: we're probably dealing with 2 CKs here, so don't be fooled by locking up just one. Annnd, I'd like to direct your attention to a few posts by our beloved Pyr before shit hit the fan. Either way, as a DT he was far too active in the thread and that is why he most likely received his fate. It was luck more than anything else, or yes it is possible that he RCed a GF faking to be a DT and PMed him, but the chances of that happening are slim to none. So day 1's not going to help us much and I think clues once again will be a word or two and definitely could not be something like heavon on earth is suggesting where the shadows and the pouncing and the dying slowly all are attached to 3 Lions. Probably going to be like every mafia game where we accidentally hang mafia on clues meant for another mafia, and most of the progress will come from getting a safe spot for the DTs somehow. (coolcrimefight has only his name to make clues from) coolcrimefighter looks like he's not going to be too helpful so probably not a huge loss unless he turns blue. Quickstriker behavior/clue analysis: + Show Spoiler + QuickStriker's outrage at being pointed out at kind of reminds me of pikachu last game for what its worth. I guess BC's death could have been a "quick strike" but meh. he could be a desperate blue and his comments seem consistent with what a noob innocent might say. I just read malongos post about quickstriker and he makes some good points i hadn't thought of yet, like about how he's not helping us at all. Of course, coolcrimefighter is not helping town at all either. Also, striker is a soccer position. That could be fodder for making clues, but I don't see anything to link to that. Guess there could be something about refusing to work as well. Maybe BC died slowly because the mafia decided to quit doing his job? The TV could have been said to have stopped working. Those are both weak as hell though so I am wasting effort even thinking these links perhaps. why more clue links = more suspicious, even early: + Show Spoiler + One thing I've realized after the last few games is that we often catch people based on the wrong clues. While clearly there is unlikely to be more than one small clue per day linking to a specific person (ie, that one post about how there are 3 seperate phrases linking to 3 lions in the day 1 post), the more plausible links from a suspect to the clue post the higher likelihood that one of them is correct. Last game BC (think it was him) came up with 3 great links to LeperKhan (getting knocked over easily, bullseye in his profile, think there was another one i forgot) but the intended clue was something we linked to someone else. Just something to keep in mind that coming up with a bunch of links for someone doesn't mean they are innocent because there couldn't be so many intended links. I think you should evaluate it taking into account both the quality and number of links (many shitty links is less than a few good links, but many good links is probably better than one great link because if a link is too great its probably too obvious to have been chosen by BC) Inertinept clue/behavior analysis: + Show Spoiler + the last game he played he gave up and admitted being mafia and whined. maybe he is also not putting much effort into this game and is voting for another mafia regardless of what it might cause and without even getting confirmation from / coordinating with ocz3c. That last sentence looks like it could be the truth if neither speak up to explain otherwise with something logical. One other idea, inertinept could be mafia and some mafia are just voting random people to try to spread out suspicion on to the hapless people they are voting for, so when the mafia get caught we go after innocents they alone voted for in an odd fashion. I don't think mafia is clever enough for that and I'm not sure that's even clever because we wouldn't make that mistake more than once. Ok, going to add some inertinept clue analysis here: I didn't find much. "with a gust of wind, perhaps" could be something stoking a fire but really doesn't fit the phrasing / layout of the fire section at all, imo. Can't think of anything about inert or inept to fit. Maybe the sound behind BC was wind? ehhh I don't really have anything good at all for a link to inertinept. Look for one word answers in what BC said. i.e. Night 1; nemY's death = burning sensation in his lungs = carbon monoxide = Monoxide. I call that the decaf effect. Then again, Monoxide could have killed Bockit. i.e. Night 1; Bockit's death = slammed his head into juke box = SC2 DT profile = Monoxide. -_- Note these are just a few examples.
