I think this may be right I don't think there's some complimicated goal thing except to stay alive and make contracts to make havoc. I thought the role description was pretty clear until BC posted about some "boooo seeeeecreeeeets" post that could be a joke.

No, that isn't it.
You and I both know there aren't any vote checks this game. I was being sly when I did my ballot.
I don't believe in first day clue analysis. This is based on more than one variable. I will only explain my reasoning in full when I gain trust, so I'll make this brief:
1. Veteran players with good intel = big targets. Either establish a core, or find the Mob. I have reason to believe at least one of us is Mafia.
2. Red herrings aside, this is based on personal behaviour, posting habits and perhaps a little clue interpretation from more than one person.
3. I gave the DTs three big names to check. No need to waste rolechecks. Hence, cut down some variables. I'm not asking for them to check us all per say.
However, if you guys wish to proceed with this we can do the following:
Based on where you (the DT) show up on the signup list, check the player closest to you by rounding up, etc. It's just a suggestion, so take it with a grain of salt.
Targeting inactivities isn't necessarily the best choice either, but yes they do ruin the game.
I'm sure you guys could come up with more ideas/suggestions.

Well, Pyrr, he wouldn't have simply posted that statement if he meant it as a joke. That would literally be polluting the fairness of the game, as the game leader himself would have been injecting chaos and disarray into our town that, especially with this unresolved and, without his mention, this not-to-be-resolved-soon issue, does not need that lack of organization.
With that said, I've only seen the discussion of the CK, and, to me, his involvement does not seem that monumental. He can't use his role until Day 2, and, in my opinion, he has far more to gain with allying himself with a member of the town than simply with a member of the mafia. That he could go against the town does not need to be stated by almost literally every other person that posts. That's counter-productive. I say this because I've been waiting for someone to elect for mayor, but the only serious campaign which I see is Qatol (and although I feel that he probably is not mafia, I always feel uncomfortable with the fact that he's far-and-away the leader in vote count (in fact unanimous, I think)). That lack of focus has caused me to abstain thus far.

Inactivity has been quite shocking this game, as seen by the post count. Your list seems ok, except Rage seems to be a bit of a stretch. From last game, Kennigit(DT), MasterOfChaos(mafia GF), and Rage (townie) were all quiet, so I'm not sure how much of a case we can make here.
Camlito was killed off last game the on night 1. Perhaps leaving him alone to see how long he lasts might be a good idea, since he is a prominent player who wouldn't be able to hide for too long.
I'd like to suggest RebirthOfLeGend as an alternative. He usually likes to cause chaos, and last game, when he didn't really post at all, he turned out to be mafia. Something we might want to try.
Versatile and Mynock seem like decent players from previous games who I wouldn't mind killing based on inactivity. But we really should get some activity here...I think perhaps the no DT check before night 2 is hurting town activity?

Hey guys really sorry, the past couple of days have been kinda busy as I've been testing a new algo for the trading firm I work for.
Looking at the profiles, I think that the biggest clue in Day 1 has to be the gibberish on the TV. I'm leaning toward people with long, nonsensical profiles. Will do more detailed analysis when work slows down. (I work asia shift so this is worktime for me)

Alright everyone and Qatol, I really didn't want to speak up yet nor would I actually do anything right now seeing how I enjoy my quiet and peaceful life in TL, in this game, and in RL, but enough is ENOUGH! First off, yes this is my first post in this thread (second if you count the factor that on this very same thread I made a post that I wanted to join this game). And I can understand the fact that you would consider me as inactive since I was actually busy enjoying my outside life trying to learn and practice golf, preparing for my college transfer, and just doing my own business HOWEVER when everyone starts bashing at me for such a pointless idiotic stupid reason, that's where I decide to come out in the open and talk about it.

I think mafia will be smarter about that this game. Better to use other tactics, but most importantly don't let mafia know how (the ranking mechanism) town "core" comes to lynch decisions.

@Showtime! with all the efforts to pre-sign up veterans with a little bit loose definition of veteran i would be surprised if fewer than 2 were really good players. I'm sure mafia will be better than last game.
as for your plan I don't even understand what it is and you've said yourself you're not even ready to present all the arguments for it so I don't know whether to support it or argue against it or what. qatol's plan of clue checks makes more sense at this point then potentially having out DTs overlap role checks early which could be a mistake (or goal) of your plan. I certainly can't see why we should direct the DTs to use role checks this early until you explain what they are supposed to do with their results.

I was referring to the written clues. Every mafioso has his own behavior which one can analyze IN THE CLUES. If Bloodycobbler is to continue doing what I think he's doing and there are roughly 1 mafia: 4 townie, it would be like day 6 before he's described all of the mafia in THE CLUES. Because it's so difficult to determine whether something is a red herring or an actual clue, it would take a couple clue posts before we could be certain of our characterization.
And yeah, I was part of that game. Behavioral analysis was what won that game for us. But that's not the type of behavioral analysis I'm referring to. It's analyzing the characters in the clue day posts.

Well, I dont really think there is any specific "behavior" that is tied to each mafia within the clues. While sometimes this does have something to do with it, most of those times that behavior is tied to a general theme related to the person's name/profile/whatever. Its not directly related to the actual behavior of the players.

Yeah, I can see where you are coming from. He seemed to over react a bit to much, could of just posted and explained himself calmly lol. Even others who are inactive come back saying something to do with school, but not in such a way as he did.
