oh wow this game started up fast, this is going to be a fun game. I really liked mafia 3 and this is set up similar to it. I wonder if we will get any Role Calling DT's this time around :D

Just out of curiosity, where did 0cz3c get accused of being a mafia? I didn't see it. What evidence was there? nice poem though.

Oh and I will be much more active in a few days, I have a LOT of shit to do in the next week. I have a major paper to edit, and two final exams to take. After that I will become a lot more active in this game. My school finishes on the 19th.

Can someone create one of those profile linking blogs or something again? That stuff was really REALLY useful for clue analysis. Or can BC update it in he main list. Its a real pain in the ass to look at each person individually and find there profile. One click clue finding was pretty sweet

I didn't vote for him based off of clues, I voted for him because of what he did last game. He got bored and essentially wasted HOURS of peoples clue analysis and game play. It was stupid and selfish, I don't see why he was allowed to sign up this time. But hes here, If the majority wants it I will change my vote. but that just seems stupid imo.

I don't get why a DT would just randomly choose sometime to PM on the first day with this information, that seems incredibly risky. We either have a very dumb dt who is on par with Folca from Mafia 3, or Ace is bsing. Either way, I guess we will decide after the lynch is made. The DT can't role check twice in a day, so there is no way he could check both Ace and Ver respectively. Something is fishy, otherwise Ace is just getting random help.

I don't think the images have much to do with the mafia, I mean maybe bc just wanted to swerve away from the normal mafia pictures. It doesn't seem like the pictures have been used as clues in any other mafia games that I am aware of, nor does it seem like a custom to do it. I think to be safe, we should see if the day clues link to any mafia, then see if those mafia match with the stargate criteria. but we shouldn't reserve the stargate thing is being truly important. Unless his clue giving involved a lot of pictures to begin with, which it doesn't.

I say for the moment, stop focusing on the stargate clues. That is just stupid.

I trust Ace right now, but I would prefer to have a DT confirmation to back it. However I also don't want to throw away a valuable DT, so I am not sure what to do yet. I am about to check into Ace's Martyr plan, but I doubt that he hasn't checked into it yet, so I am sure its solid. This is good because we get to confirm paramedics for other prominent players while not risking the medics to the suicide bomber.

Ah, well they have code names now. Well for my doubting before, the stargate pictures mean that the mafia is apparently gettings its names from stargate SG-1.

In Stargate, there was a group early on Called the System Lords, they were a group of ghou'ld that worked together to control the universe. Anyway, it looks as though he is naming each mafia after a system lord. In the series, Anubis was the worst of them all, so I think we can assume Anubis links to the most active mafia person? Or whoever sends in there hits.

So I have been doing a lot lately, but I think I have enough time to go over my thoughts on this mafia game so far. This will mainly be about Ace and what I have observed so far and my thoughts on what we should do.

At first, I thought Ace should be trusted. I thought he was a DT who checked Ver in search of an ally to start forming a town circle around. My reasoning here is this. Ace is a very good player, and last game Ver was also exceptionally useful on the towns side. I believe Ace PMed him looking for someone to start up a town circle with, someone he could PM and talk about plans, strategies and thoughts. So he checked him. In something that is both good and bad, Ver popped red. Ver would be a very instrumental player for the mafia or the town, whoever got him. So Ace couldn't exactly ignore that.

That is where I thought he designed this whole medic/martyr plan from. He needed to be open about it and not make this entirely behind the scenes as he was initially trying to do. Now that he found out Ver, I believe he had to make the town circle moderately open and hope for adequate protection using martyr and medics.

As the night fell this seemed like a good idea, we lynched Ver he was red, the drama progressed. The day post came and two DT's are now found dead. This was extremely strange to me. The mafia either has some sort of informant or something, or statistics make a fool out of us. There is a 3/40 chance of them hitting a dt, then a 2/39 chance. IT isn't high for them to take down two.

Now for the next thing that doesn't make sense. I didn't post earlier hoping the mafia wouldn't notice this inconsistency. Ace said that "A little birdie" told him that Ver was a mafioso. That doesn't make sense. A DT gets ONE role use per day/night cycle. The DT couldn't use both role checks to check BOTH Ver and Ace. Which means the Dt would have had to blind trust Ace. Which isn't a smart thing to do without any evidence to back it up.

So that means Ace was the the DT, not someone who PMed him. Then again, the blind trust thing is possible. But unlikely.

Now the next thing. Ace gets mad several posts after the day post about how hes a Veteran and how he took a hit, and how the medics/martyrs didn't do anything.

Now to me this is "...Wait, What? Ace is a Vet?" How the hell does that make sense? It just really doesn't. Two DT's died. Ace claimed that the only one he knew was a DT was Camlito. Now the only person who an confirm whether or not Ace is lying is dead. Also he would of had to have been the one who role claimed, and now he is dead.

Camlito was very smart. He ran the lucchese family last game who would of won, I can't see him blind trusting Ace the way it would now have had to happen. During this entire period I have been PMing Ace, Upon reading that post I start PMing him with my doubts about his motives and how I don't really trust him as much anymore.

I asked for an explanation for all this, to which Ace didn't give one. I told him that if he didn't start trying to explain, I would just post everything I thought which I think would discredit him a lot.

Thus we come to this, I am debating on whether or not I should share the PMs. I will later on if I deem it necessary. For now, I don't know what to do with Ace, but I would say take everything he says with a grain of salt until we have something set in motion.

Wait, so since when has Ace known about two Mafia's? And I thought the missing hit could account for one of the protections Ace shouted about. I thought one of them would of went through or something. and a Paramedic would have to reveal themselves to say "hey, I protected this person who was hit" and he would have to do it publicly, unless he was already in the circle, which is also possible.

Ace, I want some answers -_-; we need some if you want to look innocent or anything. I asked you for them and you wouldn't give them to me, someone has to.

Also that is weird that everyone gets told who is silenced. It makes the role less useful, if you silence someone important and then slam him, he can't defend himself. Which would help the mafia own people a lot. The only difference between this mafia and mafia 3 is the silencer. The silencer makes the mafia a little stronger when it was debated that the town was overpowered in mafia 3.

Then it simply comes down to you arguing that the mafia just killed him to get rid of the last DT.

Ace you are playing this almost as cute as you did in Mafia 3, barely sliding by with arguments that don't make sense. You barely manage to keep it all together, then eventually it blows up in your face. But by then its too late and you have your advantage.

I think that if Ace and Ver were both mafia, that sacrificing one to give the other town trust would be beneficial to the mafia. Town trust of someone like Ace is worth more then the mind of Ver also on your side.

yeah, Ace was too much of a problem and we couldn't kill him. It would cost us too much to kill a vet, which isn't that much of a big deal role. We seriously considered bombing him multiple times because we wanted to kill the entire circle at the same time and throw the town into chaos. With Ace being a Vet and the paramedics being around, we couldn't really. The loss of the suicide bomber also degraded our KP which we just couldn't afford to do based on other circumstances.

and I disagree about this being a gay way to end the game, admittedly I am biased since it was my idea, but that fucking list gave us no choice. The only mafia who were not raped by a list check were me and clazziquai. However the other one hit like 5/6 mafia or something didn't it? We could of waited for the town to make an error in voting, which would cost them the game. However I figured why bother waiting for the town to fuck up when we can just make them fuck up.

So we made them fuck up, we forced the lynch in our favor to get rid of some opposition. My original idea was to target mynock with the vote switch, but they chose oczec, so we came out on top either way. We secured our 3KP for another day, while killing someone we didn't want around anymore. Essentially clinching the game for us.

Hence the 1a2a3a4a5a6a spamming.

haha well we weren't stupid, and I wasn't going to blow you up :D I was only going to go bOOm on Ace if I thought I could somehow lure the last medic onto him. But that seemed too difficult, so plan was abandoned. AZ tried getting me to nuke either you are Ace, I can't remember.
